Bakugou stopped trying to yell after you while you were making your way to the school grounds. On your way there, you finally noticed the blood that continuously flowed down your fingertips, your nails embedded into your palms. You were slightly shocked, but you ultimately ignored it as you saw the school come into view.

5:09 PM... Everyone should be gone by now...

You silently checked if the doors were unlocked, which they were. Walking through the hallways, you thought of the past, and suddenly thought back to the moment before your parents left you for dead.

"Y/N... We're sorry." Your mother looked at you coldly as she left the apartment with your father. Hearing them speak outside, you leaned an ear against the door, hoping to find an explanation.

"She shouldn't be left as an orphan, even at the age of 12... Even though she poses a huge risk to the safety of everyone around her, I have to be a good mother to her, and you have to understand that, dear-"

"Absolutely NOT..! Carrying a remnant of our previous... activities risks our safety. I'd rather let the League find her by herself!!" The sound of a slap cracked through the air.

"D-Dear... I have to take care of her. Even though she reminds us of being villains, she's still our daughter..." You heard the doorknob rattle, and you stood away from the door in silence, waiting for the door to open. But instead, you heard a shriek, followed by a sudden slam against the apartment door. Then, the sound of a thud was heard.

Not being able to take the suspense, you opened the door, seeing your mother laying there, most likely dead. Looking up, you saw your father's eyes glaring down on you, and then you felt the darkness of your quirk consume you, as you sent a gigantic blast of energy towards him in bloodlust.

Before entering the building, you looked up at the sky, seeing that the setting sun created a soft hue of orange. Sighing to yourself, you entered the school, silently making your way down the dark hallways, searching for the flight of stairs that went up to the second floor. You looked down at the green carpet that furnished the stairway, and then proceeded to make your way up. You strolled by past the classrooms, and halted. The classroom where Bakugou told you and Izuku to commit suicide. Your eyes began to burn, and you decided to walk faster. Eventually, you sprinted in a mad dash for the door, hiding the entrance to the roof.

As you opened the door that led to the flight of stairs that headed to the school roof, you heard several steps echo through the hallways of the school, followed by silence. You quietly closed the door, blocking it with random things that you could find around the bottom of the stairway. Several wooden crates, filled with tools and other utilities. A tall wooden chair, intact enough to shove under the doorknob, so that no one could open the door without having an immense amount of strength. And finally, four open jugs of oil, so that anyone who tried to get to you would slip, and therefore, hurt themselves. Not wasting another second, you activated your quirk, boosting yourself forward as you ran up the stairs, hoping that you could make it to the finish line in time.

No one would care if I died, anyways... So why the rush..?

You sent a shockwave of energy at the door that led to the roof of the school. For once, you found the fresh air comforting, and calming yourself down, your quirk slowly faded away, and you walked to the edge, looking down.

"If you and Deku want a quirk so badly, then you both should just take a swan dive off the roof, and hope to get one in your next life!"

You thought over what Bakugou had told you not too long ago. "...Freedom, at last..." A bittersweet smile slowly formed on your face, and you sighed to yourself as you felt yourself let go of everything that kept you from living. Leaning over the edge of the roof, you could almost feel like you were about to spread your wings and fly. Yes, that was it...

As your body fell into free fall, it was quickly interrupted by the yell of a familiar someone. "Y/N, STOP..!!" You felt a hand grab onto your left leg at the last moment, and your dreams of freeing yourself instantly broke into pieces. Not bothering to help yourself get back up, you let your body hang there, your arms dangling from your body. Nothing ever went your way, even now. When you wanted to die, wanting to release yourself from all the pain and suffering around you... It just wouldn't happen.

"...Just let me go, Bakugou." You muttered. "You're the one that suggested this in the first place..." All you heard was silence. Bakugou didn't want to reply back to your request, but you felt his grip on your leg tightening.

His heart clenched as you spoke those words, and he knew that he had done something wrong. "...You're fucking stupid, you know that..?!" He yelled. "Stop being so fucking weak-"

"Shut up..! Just shut up!!" Your eyes were filled with tears, and you raised your left arm, ready to send an explosion of energy at Bakugou. "You... You're just trying to save me so that you can get into your dream school and become a hero!! Stop being such a selfish-"

Everything around you happened so quickly. The grip around your leg loosened and slipped, and you could feel the wind brush against your face as you fell. An abrupt shock surge through you as your body collided with the ground, and then everything around you plunged into darkness.
