Lilly's POV
I woke up this morning clueless on what my schedule was today. I checked my calendar and realized that I marked today off. Oh my god. It's me and Dom's one-year anniversary! It seems like almost yesterday that I kissed him for the first time. Maybe I should plan something for tonight. I'll head to Ralph's for some needs for tonight 😏.
It was 5:30 and I texted Dom to come over. I shaved everywhere and got out my champagne. I heard the door open so I went downstairs to greet Dom.
"Damn baby you lookin sexy." Dom said to me.
"Oh I just kinda wanted to dress myself up."
"For what?"
"For what today is."
"Um, what's today?" I couldn't tell if he was joking or not.
"You know what today is silly." He just looked at me with a confused look on his face. My smile immeadiatly went down. "You can't be serious. You forgot our anniversary?" Dom's eyes went wide.
Dom's POV
Fuck, fuck, fuck how could I forget our anniversary? God, I'm such an idiot.
"No, babe I was just messing with you. Of course I remembered our anniversary." Lilly wasn't convinced. Her face looked angry. Almost like smoke was coming out of her ears.
"You know what Dom? I think you can just leave. And don't come back until next year when you actually remember our anniversary. Then she slammed the door shut. What. Have. I. Done.
