"He's just in his room. You better fucking make him happy. I swear, if he comes out crying because he's sad, you'll be dead. Got it?" Mark threatened the moment he opened the door for Jaebum, already filled in on the situation. He didn't want to see Jackson hurting anymore. He knew that everything was a misunderstanding, he knew Jaebum was a nice guy. He just couldn't find it in him to say that to Jackson, he didn't want his best friend to think he was defending an asshole.

Jaebum just nodded and went the familiar route to Jackson's room. He paused outside, taking a deep breath before knocking on the door. He heard a faint call of 'come in' causing his facade of confidence to crumble, at the simple sound of Jackson's voice. He opened the door and went inside the room. It was a mess, clothes were thrown everywhere and paper and food wrappers covered the ground. It shocked Jaebum, to say the least. Jackson always tried to keep his room somewhat decent, but this wasn't like him at all. Jaebum took a glance towards the bed and he could feel his heart break further. Jackson sat there, wrapped in blankets. His hair was disheveled, almost as if it hadn't been brushed in a while. His eyes were puffy with dark circles underneath them. Jaebum's heart broke knowing he was the reason Jackson was a mess.

"You came." Jackson said, staring at his sheets as Jaebum closed the door. He couldn't meet his eyes, fearing the moment he looked at him he would crumble. Afraid that he would give in too soon. "I'm surprised. I thought you wouldn't want to see just some fanboy who managed to worm his way into your life or something like that." Jackson voice was low as Jaebum approached the bed, sitting softly on the opposite edge, trying to keep his distance. Both boys wanted to reach out and touch the other, tell them it was okay but neither had the confidence to do such. "Are you going to explain? Or are we just going to sit here?" Jaebum took a breath, ready to explain himself to his lover, ex-lover, he didn't know.

"Jackson, promise to hear me out till the end."

"I can't promi-"

"Just please."

"Okay."

"I didn't know you were going to hear any of that. Management called me in, saying they wanted to talk to me about the JJ Projects comeback. I believed them cause why would they lie to me. I was wrong, so wrong. The moment I stepped into the office, I was bombarded with questions regarding us, you and I. They didn't approve of us, they still don't. They kept pushing me and they know that when I get pushed I start yelling and saying things I don't mean, but what they want to hear. I didn't know they called you or else I wouldn't have even bothered to scream what they wanted to hear at them. I'm just guessing you only heard the bad." Jaebum laughed slightly, shaking his head, hoping to get the tears out of his eyes. He missed him. "Once I finished yelling what they wanted to hear, I started going off about how much I love you and how much you mean to me. I told them no matter what they couldn't break us apart, I care too much for you. I love you so fucking much. I would rather give up the JJ Project than lose you. I'm so sorry." Jaebums voice cracked, as tears fell. He put his head in his hands, his shoulders shaking as Jackson watched him.

Jackson could feel his heart beating and breaking. Im Jaebum, the man he fell in love with, still cared, still loved him. He believed every word that came out Jaebum's mouth. He didn't know what to do. Jaebum still managed to make his heart beat insane, his breathing uneven, with his presence.

"I believe you." The words slipped past his lips as a tear fell from his eye. Jaebum's head turned towards him, disbelief covered his face. "I believe you. We might not go back to how we were right away, but I'm willing to try." Jackson's voice shook as he spoke. He motioned for Jaebum to come closer, afraid his words would fail him. For the first time in weeks, the two met. Jackson leaned up towards Jaebum, pressing his lips against his, for reassurance on his choice. A kiss to resolve their problem, to put an end to their fight.
