PLOT: Y/n is an art major, and she has a project to do and is inspired by Miles because she was always in and out of hospitals also. Miles sees the painting, and questions if it's him, so he tries to find out who the artist was, but has no luck because her project needs to be anonymous.

Your POV

"Okay class, and for your midterm, you must make an art piece and label it across the school somehow. The catch? It must be anonymous and inspired by someone here at Keaton. You have until the 31. Good luck." Mr.Durani said nodding his head to us as the bell rang. I quickly wrote my idea in my idea book. I knew exactly what I am going to do for this project.

I'm going to do an outline of the ever so famous Miles Lennox. The boy who sings, plays many musical instruments, writes his own songs, and yet he does it all while battling a kidney disease.

I, myself go to the hospital time to time. No, not to visit my sick relative and, no, not to help the elderly. I go there because I suffer from Type One Diabetes, loss of insulin-producing beta cells.

I better get starting soon considering we only have three weeks to complete the assignment.

After I gathered my items, I headed outside to the lunch tables where Miles and his friends usually gather 'round. I found them in an instant and sat at a table behind them. As I was doodling my idea in my sketchbook, I couldn't help but listen to their conversation.

This way I don't look like a complete stalker or loser who sits alone listening to other peoples conversations. The friends head off their separate ways leaving Miles behind. He got up and stood against the wall, his foot resting on it also as his hands are in his black jean pockets.

His head hung low as he got a notification on his phone. I took my chances and took a picture of him in this stance. Not because I'm a creepy stalker, which I'm not, but for my mid-term. This is going to be good...

Miles' POV

I walked into school with Jax just talking about random things. Suddenly, a swarm of our friends gathered around us, claiming we should look at some mural or something. Jax calmed them down in a hurry. "Guys, what are you talking about?"

"Have you guys not seen it?" Alya asked. Bianca rolled her eyes. "Well, of course, they didn't. They just walked into the school and obviously didn't see it yesterday." Alya tilted her head in confusion. "But it wasn't there yesterday." Bianca facepalmed. "Exactly!" She said before turning on her heels and walking off.

I chuckled softly to myself. "Who spit in her tea this morning?" Jax joked. Kit then walked up to us. "You guys need to see this painting. NOW." She commanded, taking Jax by the hand and walking off. Alya and I exchanged glances but shrugged, following the two.

"Wow..." Jax said as he looked at the mural. I tilted my head, walking closer to it. "Every Day Heros.." Jax read out. I turned to my group of friends. "Does this outline look, familiar to you?" I asked them.

They all nod relentlessly.

I chuckled. "Okay then." Jax then gasped. "Miles, it's you! The height, the stance. This artist drew you and they drew you well!" He smiled at me. Kit took a picture of it. "We have to ask around to see who made it! There's no signing, signature or watermark. This must be an anonymous writer."

Jax whispered something to Kit, earning an elbow in the side. "Shut up." She then walked off with him following. Alya and I looked at the mural again. Jax was right, it is me. Do I know this artist?... it must be Julie!

Alya snapped a photo and sent me the picture. "Better get cracking, Hero Boy." She grinned before heading inside. I nodded following her.

---

"Wait, so you didn't make that mural yesterday? That isn't yours?" I asked Julie once more for clarification. She shook her head. "Sorry, Miles. I didn't make it. But if you'd like, you can help me make my painting for my mid-term!" I shook my head. "Nah, it's okay." She nodded. "Okay, see you around!" She said before collecting her things and walking out.

I sighed, sliding down the art room walls in defeat. I spent all day trying to find the artist and I got nothing! Kit, Jax, Bianca or Alya couldn't find the artist. They must be really good at this anonymous thing.

Suddenly, a girl with (H/L) (H/C) hair and (E/C) eyes walking in. She threw her items down on a table, she seemed to not have seen me as she walked in.

If I recall, I went through the whole art program except her. Have I found my artist?

I stood up, clearing my throat to get the attention of the girl. She looked up from her canvas and looked at me with a smile. "Oh, hi. Sorry I didn't see you there." She said putting down her brush and wiping her hands on a cloth. "(Y/n) (L/n)." She put her hand out.

I smiled back, shaking her hand. "Miles Lennox. I couldn't help but wonder, do you know or are you the artist who drew the "Every Day Heros" mural?" I asked her. She nodded. "Yes, I did. It was supposed to be anonymous, I guessed I failed." I quickly shook my head protesting.

"N-No! I've been trying all day to find the artist who made it, congrats to you on being hard to find." She chuckled. "Thanks." I nodded. "Mhm, may I ask you another question?" She smirked at me playfully.

"You just did."

I opened my mouth to say something but quickly shut it as she laughed. I laughed along with her. "You got me there." She chuckled. "I sure did, but sure! Ask right away." I nodded, swallowing the lump in my throat. "Is the outline, me perhaps?"

She suddenly froze. It was like time stopped. The clocks stopped ticking, I momentarily stopped breathing as she stopped blinking. I swear you could've heard the paint on the canvas drying.

She clears her throat, shaking her head. Oh good, she's still breathing. "Uh, yes I did. I hope you don't mind. You are just such an inspiration to me. Handling your music career, school work, time for your friends, and you're managing to fight a kidney disease. Amazing. You take my breath away."

I smiled, looking at my shoes blushing from the compliments. "Well, thank you," I said with a coy smile. "I too go in and out of the hospital. I have Type One diabetes." She said. I looked up at her. "Aw, look at you, Handling your art career, school work, time for your friends, and you're managing to fight a disease. Amazing. You take my  breath away." I said to her.

She chuckling, blushing slightly. "You're a special one, Miles Lennox." I chuckled. "Well thank you, but aren't we all special?" She nods. "Yes, but you are what we like to call, extra." I laughed.

"Amazing artist, great sense of humor. I dunno about you but I say I just made a new friend. What about you?" She nods. "I can say the same." By the end of the day, we both went home with a new contact in our phones.
