Birthday Surprise

I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud, everything was so quiet and I just felt comfy. I turned over to poke Bruno's nose like I always do which always makes him laugh. I just shook my head while laughing at the end. That man is so amazing but I think sometimes he lets his cockiness get to his head. One time I walked into the bathroom with him admiring himself in the mirror while he kept saying "Damn Bruno you look so fine, I would like a piece of myself." "I swear Bruno if you brought me to a haunted house or something pops out at me, you will be the one seeing a surprise which will be me trying to kill you." I said in a serious voice, of course I heard him laugh knowing how much I hate surprises. "Trust me it's not." Bruno said, we started to walk which I had to lean into him a little for support to walk. "Alright we are here, I'm going to take off your blindfold. I hope you like your surprise." Bruno whispered into my ear, I felt his hand on my head then all the sudden it was bright. I had to blink a couple of times to adjust from going to dark to brightness. But when my eyes finally adjusted, I gasped and I felt my eyes start to water. I was standing in the middle of tons of red rose peddles with lights everywhere, there were pictures of us everywhere, many balloons that say happy birthday, and I heard our song playing in the background Why I Love You by MAJOR. The one thing that stood out to me was this huge lit up sign saying in all capital letters "WILL YOU MARRY ME?", I was so lost for words before I could say or do anything, I felt Bruno grab my hand. I looked down at him, I just started to cry because he was down on one knee. He looked so handsome, he was dressed in a black suite with his hair looking so soft. I looked right into his brown eyes, I see how much love is in his eyes for me. I just couldn't stop staring into his brown eyes. "I know this might be cliché to some but I knew how much you would love this. The first time we hung out as just friends, I knew we would be together. The day I asked you to be my girlfriend was the best thing that happened to me, the first time I kissed you I knew I was already in love with you. I just knew you were the one for me (Y/N), you're so sexy, caring, helpful, honest, and so much more that I love about you. I'm ready to spend the rest of my life with you and start a family together. I love you so much baby. Will you marry the Brunz?" Bruno said, I sniffled and laughed at the last part. I just started to nod my head yes with tears coming down my face. He put the ring on my finger then jumped up to give me a passionate kiss. I said, he got up while pulling me close to him, making our noses touch, our eyes staring into each other's. "I'm your cocky man, and you just love me for it." He said with a smile, and I smiled back knowing that this man has my whole heart. "I love you so much my king." I said, and he gave me a kiss saying he loves me too. This was the best birthday surprise that I ever got, even got a HUGE gift if you know what I mean.
