As a young caterpillar, I inched around
Gathering knowledge since birth
Trying to understand the world I saw
Curiosity at its peak
Suddenly my instincts kicked in
As I created my cocoon
In the cocoon, I evolved into something new
Emerging as a beautiful butterfly
I had to make a choice,
Explore the world with my new wings and soak up the knowledge or
Revert back to caterpillar ways of inching along.
By choosing to explore with my new wings,
I was able to meet new friends from all over,
And learn about new foods to munch on,
I was able to accomplish the best me.
