The Decision

TD: PROLOGUE

3RD POV|Hidden Temple|???|11:11 PM|

"We must kill her! There's no other choice!" A girl with blonde hair with strikingly deep ocean blue-like eyes slammed her hands unto the concreted table furiously. The ground shook from the impact then settled after awhile. An eerie silence lingered around the ancient temple until a boy spoke out. "No," he said with a sigh. "That's a dangerous move. It's too hasty for that kind of a decision." The boy looked at the girl with all seriousness and gave her a glare.

"Let's consider what Alexa would have to say, don't act too harshly." The girl snorted and walked towards a worn out pillar and leaned on it. The boy with jet black hair and who had a phenomenal pair of emerald-like eyes (who spoke out earlier), ruffled his hair with distressed and looked out from side to side for any signs of someone entering their hideout. "But those damn bastards broke the rules laid out by our ancestors and almost destroyed a town, brother!" His hood tumbled upon his shoulder as a result from his shouting, which made him unconsciously summon a cold breeze inside the temple. The identity was revealed as a boy who looked like much of his brother with the exception of his eyes, which were like fiery flames.

"Your brother is right, Tony." A figure stepped out from the corner of the tottery temple, revealing a boy who had ash brown as the color of his hair with brown eyes which had everybody constantly reminded of the warmth of a deep grounded soil. Tony clicked under his tongue and put on his hood. "Has anyone called Alexa?" Tony muttered and looked away, feeling upset when his brother or anyone in the room did not support him. "I already called her!" A perky girl who had a midnight-like hair with stunning golden eyes complimenting her whole appearance, happily said and jumped around, clearly excited about the meeting commencing. "She said she is coming righttt...." As if in cue, the huge door opened quietly, revealing the most awaited person from the meeting.

"You're late, Alexa." The boy with emerald eyes stated.

"While yes, captain obvious." She rolled her eyes and flipped back her ebony hair. She strolled towards the center of temple and told everybody to gather around the table. "Tell me about the situation, Chris." She commanded him with a monotone voice and looked at the oldest member in the team, waited for his answer. "My name is not Obvious." He glared at the small woman, who apparently is the smartest of the group. "My name is Chris, for your information, and as for the situation, the cult made a move and destroyed a town not too far away from here." Alexa groaned and smacked her forehead. "They are going to be the death of us!" She whined and scratched behind her ear.

"I told you! They should be punished from what they've done! Especially THAT girl!" The blonde grumbled angrily and crossed her hands. "Arien," Alexa called out the enthusiastic girl, ignoring the remark her friend had just muttered, and told her to look out for today in case enemies are close by. "On it, Lexa!" She giggled and teleported outside to be the on the look out.

The sun was already setting and the meeting was yet to begin. Enemies were more active at night they say and by that, they need to be more cautious than ever. The associates knew of this and had to be quick about this in order not be found out.

"Lili," Alexa called out the exasperated member. "Be in the offense today, alright? Cool off that damn head of yours." Alexa had enough of her attitude and glared at the irksome girl. "Fine! Be that way!" She stomped her foot childishly and jumped towards the highest window and got outside. Everyone looked at each other's eyes and slowly gathered around at the round table at the center. Alexa pulled out her glove and at the same time, blue swirling smoke started emitting from her fingers. All did the same and put out their hands towards the center of the magic circle which sat atop from the round table and started to connect their powers one by one. Alexa breathed in and directed all their powers from above the starry skies then smirked.

"Let's begin."
