Always Around Me

Coraline's POV

" What do you mean by it's my brothers?" I Ask utterly shook.

"They're the one's who took you away from me, from all the happiness." He said looking at me with eyes filled with sadness.

" why would my brothers ever do that!?" I asked with rage.

" you're lying! First of all you leave and suddenly come back in to my life and claiming that all along it was my brothers who kept me away from you!! Do you really expect me to believe that bullshit!?!?" I ask losing my temper.

" Oh honey, there's so much you don't know." He says calmly with a smirk on his face.

At that moment I really wanted to smack that smirk of his face not caring if he's my father.

" Tell me then!" I ask forcibly.

"Not now." Is all he said.

He then slowly get up from his chair.

"See you later honey. I really hope you'll meet me again." He says with a somewhat desperate look.

"Yeah. Sure ." I say.

"What about next week monday?" He ask.

"yeah. Why not." I said.

"Um okay I guess I'll see you then." He says while awkwardly hugging me.

I hugged my dad after a very long time it was a weird but warm feeling. I liked it. He then let go of me and left.

As i was walking home my head was exploding with millions of questions.

Were my brothers really villains? What if my dad was lying? What if he wasn't? I was wandering down the lane and a loud honking startled me out of my day dream.

I look to the side and see Frediano sitting in the car. He parked his car on the curb and got off walking towards me.

Why is he always around me?

"Where are you going all alone?" He asks with an expression less face.

"Why do you care?" I asked him jokingly. I think he took it seriously.

"Get in the car I'll drop you home." He demands.

"Um you do know you could ask me kindly right?" I ask irritated at his rudeness.

I honestly didn't even wait for his reply and just got in the car. I wasn't in the mood for an argument.

He got in the car and started driving. "So how was your day Fred?" I ask trying to make a conversation.

"Fred huh?" He asks while smirking.

"Whatever."

"Well my day was fine Cora." He added.

We just stared at each other and burst out laughing. Seeing him laugh made my heart swell. He looked so care free, so young. I liked this side of him not the dark and mean side.

"Thanks for dropping me off and next time ask kindly" I say while grinning. He just drove off while shaking his head.

I run into the house while smiling. I start making my way up the stairs. I hear my brothers call my name. I honestly forgot about the drama that took place earlier on.

I go down into the sitting room and come face to face with Zane. " you don't seem to get it do you?" He asks annoyed.

I start replying when he cuts me off again " I'm going to repeat myself the last time. Stay away from that boy." He says while trying to control his anger.

"I i i i don't see what's the problem with him. He hasn't hurt me or anything. So why!?" I ask while my tears are threatening to fall from my eyes.

I hate it when he shouts at me. It just scares me.
"I'm a grown up now! I can take care of myself thank you very much." I say after gathering myself with that I just walk up to my room and slam the door.
