2 days after the fight at the dining table..!
Nandini's POV:
"nandu we have a party tomorrow with the new producer of our album.." manik informed me when we both were sitting In our room cuddled up.. I was between his legs with his hands tightly wrapped around me. While I was busy eating he was busy romancing...
"You love this ice cream more than me.." he said in an annoyed tone because I ignored him and I seriously did ignore him. He broke the hug and turned me to face him but still I was in his lap.. you know he doesn't leave me for a second also..
I heard manik sigh and he said "nandu whats wrong... tum mujh sae theek sae baath bhi nai kar rahi ho.. is your health alright ??" he asked but still my focus didn't shift from the ice cream bowl.
"nandu look at me.." he warned but I ignored. And the next moment he snatched the bowl from my hand and placed it on the small table attached to the bed on his side. I tried taking it but he pinned me down on the bed and my hands were above my head and my legs tangled with his.. and guess what there was no escape now... he was going to get what he wanted.
"what is your problem haan ??" he asked in an irritated tone and I looked away.. not so easily Mr.Malhotra..huhh
"nandu im asking you for one last time tell me or else you will not like the consequences.." he warned and I gave up.. if I will not tell him he will call Aru or Soha to ask what happened and why and how and all stuffs.. its better if I by myself tell him whats the problem.
"manik.. about the pharma company which I told you.." I started but he cut me off
"no.. my answer was no...is no and it will be a big fat NO.. you are not going to risk your life.. just lets not talk about it.." he said and concluded.. I was angry.. like very very angry now... im not going to die or anything in that mission.. I have done this before also and this was not new to me.. but how can THE GREAT MANIK MALHOTRA understand that..
I pushed him with all my force and before he could catch me I ran out of our room and knocked mukthi's door.. she opened it in time and I got in hurriedly and locked the door immediately. This room was my saviour room. Whenever I am angry with manik or if we have a fight I come and sleep in Mukti's room. Manik will not dare to enter this room as he is scared of mukti..hehehe.. once I went to cabir's room in a similar situation and cabir opened the door and said
"jaldee leke ja ise mujhe sona hai.." I hit him hard with a pillow and manik carried me to our room and that night was...arggg.. I cant even tell what he did to me.. he tied me to our bed and .. and.. you know.. he was ... god this is so embarrassing.. aap logon ko jo sochna hai aa soch lo...
Back to present:
"phir se jhagada ??" she asked in a not-so-interested tone and I nodded my head in a yes.
"ab kya hua ??" she said laying on the bed and I also did the same on the other side but I didn't answer her.
"nandu if you will not tell ill open the door and then its your wish.." she blackmailed me... aaiyappaaa... why.. why me.. I prayed in my mind looking up.
"vo.. the new case.. which I told you.. vo pharma company wala.." I said and she just humed in response and I sighed. I sat on the bed and said folding my legs
"mukti its not so risky.. maine pehale bhi aaise cases solve kiye hai.. please.. tum sab ko convenience karo naa.. I really want to work for that project.." I said in almost crying tone and she got up.. finally someone on my side
"nandu.. isn't it risky.." she asked the obvious question and I rolled my eyes.. of course it was..
"nai.. utna bhi nai hai.. we are a team of 7 members and I will be leading the team.. so its not as risky as you are thinking.." I told her confidently and she narrowed her gaze and said "jhut toh nai bol rahi na tu..?" and I bit my tongue and said hiding my crossed fingers from her
"nai toh.. why would I lie to you.." I said in a matter of fact tone and she frowned and said
"last time bhi tune yahi bola tha.. and you ended up in Police investigation as they thought you were the culprit... you were framed nandu.. that was so risky.. and still you didn't inform any..i mean ANY of us..." she huffed
"but I proved myself innocent naa.. mere paas proofs the.." I also argued
"haan because manik along with Dhruv were following you without your knowledge.." she added
"please mukti.. this time ill be more careful.. pleaseee..." I pleaded... mukti was my only hope and I had to convince her at any cost.
"fine.. ill try to talk to Aliya.. she will talk to Dhruv and Dhruv to Cabir and Manik.." she said and yess like finally..
"thank you soo muchhh..." I said and hugged her tightly.
"haan haan.. enough of buttering.. ab so ja aur mujhe bhi sone de...kal ke party me mujhe accha dikhna hai .. gande gande dark circles aa jayange mere face pe agar theek sae nai soyi toh and Aliya will kill me saying she has to work a lot on my makeup.." she said laying back on bed and closed her eyes. I giggled at her comment and slept beside her.
Next day was pretty much eventful... full day we were busy with work and evening we had to attend the party.. I was ignoring manik to the maximum extent possible and surprisingly he also didn't bug me much.. me and soha were trying to get as much information as possible from all our sources and finally something interesting caught my attention.
"Mr.Abhimanya Thakkar..!!"
I smirked.. this will be interesting...!!
