*Frozen Hearts* (Jelsa)

Part 1: Chapter 4

*3 days later*

When we got back to Arendelle, Jack and I have been growing close, in an odd way. He helped me with controlling my powers, but he has been taking my places with him alone should we can see the sunset together. I never knew why, probably because he likes it, but why drag me along with him? Eh, I guess he just wants company sometimes.

"Anna, can you fix my cape?" I was examining the torn off peice.

"Why happened?" She asked from the other room.

"Er, someone stepped on it and it tore off."

"Oh, well. Only you can fix it, you created it." She said.

"Oh yea!" I realized. Sometimes I can be really naive. I moved my hand in a swift motion, in a way as if I was spreading something with my fingers. The gap in my cape filled again. I smiled.

"Hello?" A voice emerged from outside the door.

"Yes?"

"May I come in?"

"Eh, yea." I replied. The door opened with a squeak. Jack's face popped in.

"Oh, Jack... yea come in." My smile grew. He walked in and closed the door behind him.

"What are you doing here?" I pushed myself off the couch and went to hug him. But I quickly stopped myself before putting my hands up. I didn't know why I was going to hug him. So I just stood close to him, thats all.

"Just wanted to see you." He said. His smile faded as fast as it came. It's like he regreted, or didn't know why, what he said. I rose an eyebrow.

"Ah, so. What you doing?" He asked.

"Well, I just fixed my cape, because it was torn. And now, I'm waiting for Anna to get me an apple."

"What?" Anna voice echoed.

"I want an apple." I said back.

"Alright." She said. She appeard in the room with an apple in her hand. She handed it to me.

"But, you owe Sven an apple." She said and walked out.

"Of course." I whispered. I took a bite out of the apple. It was a red apple, very juicy and fruity. I savored that bit but I had to swallow.

"So what are you doing later?" He asked. I wiped my face on my sleeve. He chuckled.

"Oh, I'm free today. Why?"

"Just wanted to know." He shrugged and touched the column holding up the ceiling. Ice spread upon it near the area he touched with his index finger.

"Come on." I pushed him slightly on the shoulder playfully. "This is the one place I haven't touched with ice." He smiled, then we both laughed.

"Why so tense?" He raised his left eyebrow.

"Well, I really just want to let it go. Not just with practice but actually do something with it. And you making ice over here doesn't help." I said.

"Okay, I can help with that. I'll pick you up later and we'll do something actually fun. Okay?" He explained.

"Oh, okay." I put the apple down on the table. He came closer to me, to the point where he was only a couple of inches away. Suddenly, he wrapped his arms around me. We stayed like that for about a minute. When he pulled away, I couldn't help but blush. He laughed. And walked out the door without another word. I turned around and saw Anna standing at the hallway corridor. She raised her eyebrow, and I knew what she was saying.

"Oh shut up..." I said. She burst out laughing and I turned away to my room.

"I can feel it in the air, Elsa." Anna said and drifted away. I wondered if she was right. But it couldn't be, Jack is just... not that kind of guy.

Jack knocked on my door later that day and he took me on the roof of the castle, the most stable and sturdy part.

"Why are we up here?" I asked.

"I figured it was a good spot for you to let it go." He answered. He floated around a corner and I followed him. I gasped when I saw it. It was an hut, made out of ice. It was empty, but it was beautiful.

"Did you make this?"

"Yea. You can decorate it however you like, so you don't have to all the way to the North Mountain to be alone." He explained. "I don't want you getting hurt." He looked at me with thoughtful eyes.

"Oh, well. Thanks! I can't wait to see what I can do with the place."

"I bet it will be amazing, because you're amazing." He said. I blushed.

"Heh, yea. Um.. yea." I started walking towards the hut. But I got distracted and tripped over my cape. Jack caught me before I fell on my face. Our faces were very close. I can even smell his coldness. ¨Eh, um.. ah..¨ I did not know what to say. He chuckled and put me back on my feet. How and why did I get so distracted by him?

¨But yea, what did you want to do with it?¨ Jack asked.

¨Its, going to be a surprise! So look away, and ill let you know when Im done, okay?¨

¨Ugh, fine.¨ He turned around with his back to the hut and I went to work.

Does Elsa like me? She seems so blushy and distracted when around me. Yet again, I am, too. I hold it in, though. Should I? I think I like her, but does she like me? I dont know what to think. I made her that hut as a gift. I wonder what she is doing with it.

¨You done yet, Elsie?¨ I asked.

¨Elsie?¨

¨Thats my nickname for you.¨ I said.

¨Oh well, no. I am not done. Soon though.¨ She stated.

¨Hurry, I am hungry.¨ I smirked

¨Go eat an apple.¨

¨What is up with you people and app- woah!¨ I turned around and I saw Elsa standing in front of the hut. It was beautiful. She added ice flowers at the base and I could see a chandelier of ice in it. It had ice crystals hanging from each corner. I wonder what it looked like on the inside, because the outside was magnificent. 

"You like it?" Elsa asked.

"Well, I'm not the one who is living in it, but yea. It is truly amazing." I answered.

"Thanks. I learned what I was capable of a long time ago." Elsa thanked. I moved closer to her and saw a statue of her made out of ice, but with water trickling down her stautue ice dress. That was breath-taking. 

"Now, this is nice. I knew you had it in you." I said.

"Yea, but it's not finished yet. It just needs one more thing. And I'd like you to do the honors." Elsa said.

"What, me?" I asked

"Yes, you. I want you to make the crystal pattern on the outside of my hut. I could do it myself, but it would be a really nice thing to look at when I am reminded of you when you are gone." She said.

"Oh, okay. Sure." I said. I touched the hut with my index finger and the whole hut went sparkling with the thin ice layer that covered it in seconds.

"Thank you." Elsa thanked.

"Anything for you, Elsie. I would do anything."
