Raindrops tapping gently on my window
Calming my anxiety
Heart beating fast
As I laid to rest
Hours later
I peeked out of the window
With my dark circles standing out
A glistening glow was added
To the once so colourful
City streets
Now coloured
In
black and white
Feeling faded
We're now so distant
How I wished I had the strength
To face the world
Like how I once used to
Only to realise
It drained me of everything
I had
And you ,
Took everything I had left
