jason todd x reader

you sighed miserably as you sat on your couch staring at the screen of your phone. you just received a text about jason wanting to talk to you. all your thoughts were flooding out of your head, what was so important? he sounded a little upset. upset over what? your hand start to fidget with your shirt as your other held your phone firmly. you started to shake from how anxious you were until an idea popped in your head. it could've been a reason why he was upset. you weren't sure and you brushed the idea away. it can't be about dick, you think. we are just friends. nothing major. you closed your eyes and turned off your phone, throwing it to the other side of the couch as you laid back.

as you waited, what seemed like hours, it was already time for jason to meet up at your place. you got up from your couch and took your phone with you as you walked to your room, 4:53. seven minutes and jason would arrive at your house to explain everything. you entered your room and changed out of your pajamas. by the time you were in your clothes you heard the doorbell rang. you rushed to the door and sigh as you placed your hand on the doorbell.

"open the door, it's jason." you hear him say as you close your eyes and let out a shaky breath. you open the door and smile nervously. jason wasn't smiling though, he looked serious and upset. he entered your house without asking any permission and you just shook your head closing the door after him.

"what's wrong?" you manage to ask as he slowly turned himself towards you. the way he looked at you made you feel worried and a bit uncomfortable. you walked next to him and your eyes made contact with his.

his eyes showed many emotions, for example, jealousy, pain, betray, and hatefulness. you didn't understand why those emotions seemed to be there and you let out another worried sigh as his response takes longer than you expected, "you know what you did now admit it."

wow, well that wasn't an answer you were expecting. you raised an eyebrow at him and hummed in question, "hmm? what did i do? admit?" you were clearly confused only making jason even more irritated.

"you know it," he growled which made you jumped, why is he acting like this to you?

"jason?" you say questioningly, "what did i do? i don't know what you are talking about." your eyes averted away from his eyes and at the ground.

"you were cheating on me." he said straightforwardly. "cheating on me with my own brother, dick."

you looked surprised, what? what did he just say? you? dick? no way. it was never like that. sure you and dick had been hanging out  a lot lately but it wasn't because of that. dick felt like another brother to you. he was kind of the first person you would talk to about anything and you usually did most things with him...oh, now you get it. jason's jealous.

"no no no no," you say as you shake your head, "you got it wrong." you sighed and took a deep breath making sure to have jason's full attention, "dick and i..we never...no..nope." you stutter at first, "dick and i were never like that. it was never like that. he's like my brother too. i'm not cheating on you, i swear."

jason nodded sarcastically, "oh, that's the reason why you are always with him even more than me. i come to see you and all i hear is that you are with him doing something and you just expect me to listen to this? you expect me to believe it?" he scoffed and gave you a look.

you gulped, "i..uh um..jason no please listen to me. it was never and will never be like that. please don't be so jeal-"

"oh, so you are just going to claim that i'm jealous?" he cuts you off with more of his sarcasm. "you trying to blame me for something you are doing?" he points to himself as he claims this.

"jay, baby, i am not doing anything with your brother. listen. to. me. nothing is happening with dick and i."

you really hated this so much, you hated fights. you were never in a fight unless it wasn't as serious as this. when you fought it was all fun and games..now it wasn't. you were freaking out on what else to tell him since he was so stubborn and believed that you were cheating on him although you truly weren't.

"i don't believe you because if i did it wouldn't have explained this." he takes out his phone and shows a picture of you and dick sharing drinks.

"so. . .?" you raise an eyebrow and look at him. "what's the problem?"

jason just growled and turned his back towards you as he walked to the door. "that's it i'm breaking up with you." he said with no emotions or any regret in his tone. he actually meant what he said and your eyes widen as you chased him to the door.

"no no no!" you exclaimed and rushed to his side. "please believe me." you said as you wrapped yourself around him, not being able to move anymore. you pulled him into a deep and passionate kiss waiting for him to kiss you back only to feel him pull away instantly.

"don't play with my emotions like that." he said in a harsh tone making you turn your face away and feel ashamed.

"sorry..." you slowly unwrap yourself and he places his hand on the door as tears silently fall from your eyes and down your cheeks. this was it wasn't it? the end of your relationship.

"it's over, y/n." he turned his head slightly to look at you then he opened your door, leaving and slamming it after. you fell to your knees and sat on the floor looking at the floor with a blank expression.

it was truly it. the end. your relationship with jason, your love, had ended. all..all because of jealousy. how..would you ever be able to get him back? how? you just felt your tears slide down and close your eyes as you start to regret the things you had done. but it wasn't your fault, you didn't do anything wrong nor have you ever cheated him. jason just blamed you, without even believing you were innocent. . .
