It was the one year anniversary of Emile becoming mayor this was supposed to be a joyous day but it was anything but that. It was the day Emile was leaving Palette not knowing if he would ever come back. Molly thought something weird was going on because Emile was acting as if he was dying the next day. Croque knew this was bothering her so he started to spy on Emile. Then he learned Emile was leaving Palette and told Molly. At first she was sad then she thought If it makes him happy and this is the right choice for him I'm happy for him. But secretly she hoped Croque heard it wrong. However that hope died fast, extremely fast the next day.
