"Sorry, Logan, I can't come to school with you today, I have to run a few errands," said Felix trying to gain more time to watch TV.
"That's okay."
"Ok, bye Logan."
"Bye."
He steps out the door with his hover board and starts to ride it towards school. He sees a boy about Logan's age at his door step with his mother. The boy's mother points at Logan and whispers something to her son.
The boy nodded his head, ran down the stairs, and got on his hover board. He rode towards Logan.
"Good bye, munchkin," yelled the boys mother before she shut the door.
He rolled his eyes. Logan started to speed up on his hover board.
The boy speeded up too. He was right beside Logan, "Hi, my name is Connor, Connor Singleton. Hey, wanna hear a joke? What makes a foot smell?"
"I don't know, what."
"The toes," Connor burst into laughter. "It's a classic."
"Wow, that's hilarious," said Logan sarcastically.
"So, what's your name."
"Logan."
"Ooh, Logan, Logi, Lolo, L-dog Lo--"
"Just call me Logan."
"Okay, Logan, you know, I think we would be good best friends."
"Ehh."
Connor stopped his hover board and said, "I'll catch up, I have to call my mom to tell her that I got a new best friend."
"Yes, you do that," Logan speeded up and got to school as soon as possible.

When Logan got to school he went straight to first period and sat next to Adam again, "Adam, there is this weird kid who just moved into our neighborhood. He makes stupid jokes and stupid nicknames and now he thinks he is my best friend or something. His name is-"
Connor came through the door and yelled, "Hello, everyone. I'm Connor Singleton!" He was short with dark brown hair. He had huge glasses that looked similar to the ones that Logan's grandmother owned. He was wearing a striped shirt and khakis. His clothes looked like they were straight from the 2080s.
"That's him," Logan whispered to Adam.
"Hi Logan, I didn't know you were in this class."
"Sadly, I am."
Connor sat down next to Adam and Logan. Everyone in the class looked at them.
"This is gonna be a long day."
