Chapter 7: Guest Room

======================================================================

Ella's P.O.V

After agreeing to stay one, ONE night only at Grayson's place under the condition and definite promise of getting back home first thing in the morning, we finally decided to go in and let this night to rest.

Not to mention the countless times, Grayson tried to tell me it will fine and overall comfort me by rubbing my back softly and attempting to lighten the mood every now and then by telling me silly stories of numerous people who had it a lot more worse than me. Even though he didn't help much I still didn't allow him to see the few times a smile tried to creep up. But I didn't buy it and, judging by the number of stars on my side my luck doesn't seem to look up anytime soon. I am expecting the worst at all times.

I follow Grayson through the front door and indulge a boast of a highly organic, modern and aesthetic interior of all sorts throughout. I find myself standing in an open floor layout capturing the wonderful views of the lake, through the expansive glass windows. This place keeps proving its surrealness. The modern furniture blends into the colour range of dark colours - navy, coffee brown, black and a hint of light colours, white and beige. Grayson clearly must be very rich for his age and young look.

"And this is the guest room" Grayson leads the way to short hallway stopping at a double wooden door, then opens it while I stand behind him.

"It's okay don't be shy"

"I'm not" okay that was the partial truth.

"Sure." He says and I nod walking past him not missing the smirk on his gorgeous face.

I look around at what's supposed to be the guest room- a clean, bright, welcoming medium sized tone wood floor bedroom with white walls and a single bed, side tables, two chairs, a coffee table and a large TV hung on the wall.

"So..." Grayson speaks standing next to me

"I see you think I'm ridiculously hot"

"Oh come on"

"What?"

"That's all you got from what I said?" I place my hands on either side of my hips.

"I don't know you tell me"

"First of all, I'm tired. And second of all, you promised me you'd help me get back home. But look at where we are now" I say throwing my arms in the air for emphasis.

"In my guest room?"

"Yes. Grayson. In your guest room," I shake my head at his absurdness.

"Alright, I'll get you water then"

"I'm fine"

"But your lips are dry" I instinctively run my tongue across my lips and I suddenly realized my lips were dry.

"It's very distracting, that's why" he explains, even though I tried to convince myself that dry lips tend to be distracting and its normal for him to say something like that to me but all I could do was feel a heat rise from my neck up into my cheeks. What the hell is happening to me.

"Uhh, okay" Okay...? He nods and heads to the door and I use that time to take deep breaths and calm my self down. I've had a stressful day and my emotions are clearly all over the place. I just want this to end. Maybe I'll wake up tomorrow and everything's back to normal.

Moments later Grayson comes back with a jug of water and an empty glass in hands. He places them on the right side table and gives me a slight smile I watch how every muscle moved with every movement he made through his shirt and arms.
