"No, Natasha. I said three quarters, not a half." I argued, my phone dangerously balanced between my left shoulder and ear, as I washed my hands in the sink."How the hell could you have misheard this?"
I could hear Natasha sigh all the way from the phone, as I turned the tap of the sink off. She replied, mindlessly. "I just completed the project. I don't have the energy to do anymore changes."
I frowned at her, even though she couldn't see it. "Why am I even partnered to you?"
"Ask Sir. Asif." She huffed. I rolled my eyes and walked towards the towel hung on the bathroom rod. As my hands touched the towel, I immediately coiled my hand back feeling it damp as ever.
Does or does not anybody remember to throw the wet towel in the laundry bin after their shower?
I pulled it down from the rod.
I screamed, dropping both the towel and the phone in shock as it crashed it to the ground. I tried to calm my erratically beating heart, leaning against the bathroom sink for support.
"Agnes? Agnes, what happened??" Natasha's voice came through my phone lying on the ground. I crouched, and picked it up, examining it for any cracks, while at the same time replying. "Nothing! I'm fine! Call you later."
I ended the call, and stuffed the phone in my back pocket hastily. With a glare, I stared at the poorly taken printout of Nicholas Cage, which still managed to scare me out.
I rolled my eyes, picking at the tape clung to the picture and wall slowly, until I managed to pry the picture away from the wall.
Crumpling it into a messy ball, I aimed it for the bin.

I silently twisted the knob of Carter's door. As I tried to push it open, it gave a wailing creak causing me to halt in place. From inside the room, I could hear Carter's loud unwavering snores, giving me the chance to shove the door open and push it close so that all the creaks were suppressed under my brother's noise.
I tightly gripped the Mayo bottle in my grasp, as I stared at Carter whose lower half was on the bed, and upper half was down on the floor, his nose squashed in between his head and the floor. His blanket was rolled around his waist, and the bedsheets were creased to his side.
Rolling my eyes at him, I walked over to his bathroom door. Thankfully, it didn't make any noise when I entered. Upon the shelves above the sink, were lying Carter's toothbrush and toothpaste in a bathroom cup.
I snorted to myself, grabbing the toothpaste from the shelf. Flipping the lid open of both the Colgate toothpaste and the Mayo bottle, I effortlessly joined the lids together, and squeezed the bottle. The gurgling noise indicated that the mayonnaise was now being belched into the toothpaste.
