Xandra's P.O.V.

We pull up in front of the café and climb out of the car. Derek locks the car we walk inside and up to the counter. "I'll have a black coffee. What do you want Xan?" He asks. "Iced chai tea latte please Der." I say quietly and he nods before relaying the order. The girl behind the counter, who is obviously staring at Derek, goes to make our drinks. I glare at her back, making Derek chuckle quietly at me. "One black coffee and one iced chai tea latte. That'll be $4.95." She says, clearly trying to flirt with Derek. "Thanks." I say sweetly and she shoots a withering look at me. "You know what if you don't stop looking at me like that, I'm going to break your nose and he," I say pointing at Derek, " Isn't going to stop me from doing so. So if I was you I'd stop." I threaten and Derek wraps his arms around my waist from behind and buries his face in my neck to hide his smile. "Here are your drinks. $4.95." She says and I stick my hand in Derek's pocket for change and count out the money before dropping it on the counter and taking my drink. Derek steps back and takes his drink and I drop the extra change in his hand. He puts the change in his pocket and grabs my hand. We walk out to the car and Derek unlocks it. "That was kind of hot." He says as we climb into the car. I smile a kiss him briefly. "Yeah well she was clearly checking you out and that was very annoying." I say and he nods. "Yeah well it was still hot." He says and I grin. "Come on. We can go back to yours." Derek says and I nod. "Sure. Stiles is at school and dad should be at work. I think." I say and he nods. He drives to my house and pulls into the empty drive. We walk up to the front door and I unlock it. We walk upstairs to my room and sit on the bed. I finish my drink and drop the empty cup in the bin. "So... I recommend we don't watch Harry Potter." I joke. Derek cracks a smile. "Probably not the best of ideas." Derek says and I smile. "Shame really. Because I love that movie." I sigh. "Yeah but you know what happened last time." Derek says. "Yes but that was following a really stupid argument anyways." I point out. "Still, best not risk it for a while." Derek says and I nod. "I'm still watching them with Danny later." I say and he groans. "Do you have to go to Danny's?" He asks. "Yes I do." I laugh. "Why?" He whines. "Because I want to see my best friend Derek. I still haven't told him that I broke my wrist." I say exasperated. "Okay. I get it. I just really don't want you to go after spending the majority of the weekend not seeing you." Derek explains. We sit on my bed and I rest my head on his shoulder. "I'm only going for a couple of nights. If you want, you can stay here when I get back." I say and he nods. "Okay." He agrees. "Hey. I love you Derek. Okay? So don't be a douche. That's what Jackson's for." I say and he grins. "Say it again." Derek says. "Jackson's a douche." I tease, laughing. "No. The other part." He grins. "Don't be a douche?" I joke. He tackles me onto the bed. "You know which bit I mean." He says, his face inches from mine. "I love you Derek Hale." I smile. "I love you too." He says. "Now get up. Danny should be here in a minute." I say. He gets up and pulls me off the bed. "Come on. We can wait in the living room." I say, pulling Derek downstairs. He sits down and I sit on his knee, facing him. I bury my head in his chest and he wraps his arms around my waist. "I'm glad we made up." I murmur. "Hmm. So am I." Derek says. Then the door swings open. "It's probably Stiles." I try to say quietly in case it's my dad. "I can hear you Xandra." I hear dad's voice say from the front door. I move off Derek's lap quickly and nestle into his side and Derek looks down at me with amusement on his face. Dad walks in. "I thought you were spending the day with Lydia." Dad says suspiciously. "I was but then Derek turned up and Lyds went to school and I spent the day with Derek instead. It wasn't planned." I say. "Okay well. Derek you need to go home and Xan. Danny's outside." Dad says and I nod. I pull Derek to the door as dad goes upstairs. "I'll see you in a couple days." I whisper kissing him gently, grabbing his shirt with my uninjured hand. "Mmmm. Okay." Derek hums. Danny honks his horn. "Xan come on!" He yells. "Coming Danny." I yell, pulling away from Derek. "I love you." I say as we walk to his car where his and Danny's trunks are next to each other. He opens his trunk and Danny gets out to open his. I hug him. "Hey Danny." I say happily. "Don't you 'Hey Danny' me Xan. What the hell did you do to your arm?" Danny asks, gently holding it up. "Well you see. I was mad at Derek and Stiles, I'll tell you later, and I went to stay at Lyds. I would have come to yours but Lyds is closer. And I stayed there for the weekend so my dad bought me my clothes and books and I didn't realise it was all of my books were in the bag and I sorta tried to pick it up." I say sheepishly. He slaps me playfully on the okay shoulder. "You idiot." Danny jokes. "Yeah I know." I say as Derek closes both trunks. Danny gets back in the car and I hug Derek. "I love you too." He whispers in my ear and I kiss him briefly before going to climb in the car. "So Stiles seemed happier at school today so I assume you forgave him." Danny says. I smile sheepishly. "Maybe." I say. "God you suck at holding a grudge." Danny laughs and I groan. "I swear you and Lydia have meetings on what to say to tease me." I groan and Danny laughs. "Maybe we do. You don't know." Danny teases. "That's right. I don't know or I'd prevent them." I joke and we both laugh. I turn up the radio and we spend the rest of the drive singing along to the radio.
