Because you're never good enough.

This had been established long ago, but you ask yourself how come you aren't used to it. You're not doing it right and you're not making a cut for it. And they tell you that. Despite knowing you gave it your all. Despite knowing that what you did is better than what others can. Still, they tell you you're never enough.

And you should have been used to it. You should have when you grew up getting silent treatments from your parents when your grade didn't cut off to A. When you aren't within the top 10 of the class, or when you are but you're at the bottom part. You should have been used to it when you grew up knowing how hard you try, someone's gonna be better than you, someone's gonna be greater than you.

And it was enough not to push for more. Because what's the point when it'll never gonna be enough?
