"This is not a song that's gonna get you deep in your emotions"
That's what I told myself when I was writing this poem.
But I found out along the way that I was suddenly lost in the ocean of devotion
You're in my head every single day
I think of you no matter how much I pray
To get you out
I don't really want you out instead
I want to make my imagination release from my headOh my god you've literally blinded me
Dude, now I can't see
Your chiseled face makes me weak
Your ocean blue eyes so unique
Used to be as quiet as a mouse
But that was before I met you in that coffee houseYeah, I make fun of you in front of your friends
But that's just part of my awesome sense of humor
I'll teach you more about that as we grow older
Oops, I didn't mean that like I was thinking fifty years down the line with you
Okay, I actually was wondering what it'd be like to settle down somewhere with youOh my god you've literally blinded me
Dude, now I can't see
Your chiseled face makes me weak
Your ocean blue eyes so unique
Used to be as quiet as a mouse
But that was before I met you in that coffee houseNow I know this isn't exactly a love story for the ages (again, oops!)
But it's ours and I can't stop turning the pages
