My mom walks in and yells, "Wake up!" I get up and fall. I can't stand. My rib is in too much pain. My mom watches me. I cry and try again, I don't want to make mom made. I keep falling back down. Right when she begins to yell my dad walks in and says, "Her rib is broke. If we don't fix it now. We won't have a worker or a torture item." My mom nods and walks out. My dad walks to me and picks me up. He carries me to the living room and he dresses me in really pretty clothes that actually fit me! He put my shoes on and then he carried me to my mom. She takes the brush and yanks it through my hair. She throws it up in a pony tail. My dad comes back and carries me to the car. He lays me in the back seat. I lay there and close my eyes and fall asleep. My mom gets in and my dad starts the car and off to the hospital with lies.
When we arrive my mom rushes in with a fake acting panicky face. She comes back with some hospital people and a rolling bed. She opens the door and backs away. They get me out and hoist me up onto the bed. They wheel me in and into a room.
I lay there in an empty room and stare at the roof. Soon the doctor walks in and begins speaking, "Hello young lady, we would like to know how this all happened. Like the huge marks on your face and your rib." I did as my dad told me, "I was running in the woods from something or someone and there were branches everywhere and a stump tripped me. Once the stump tripped me I fell on another stump in front of me. If it wasn't for my loving... loving parents for not being outside I would have gotten killed." The doctor nods and jots down some notes. He looks up to me and says, "We will give you medication to add on your face, but first we need to do an X-RAY on your rib."
After my X-RAY I get wheeled back into my room and wait for the results. The doctor comes back in and tells me, "Your rib is severely broken, you will have to undergo surgery. You will stay here after the surgery for three weeks. By then you will have healed. We will get you school excuse notes." The doctor turns around and leaves out of the room. I smile, I am free from my parents for three weeks! Maybe I will become free! Maybe God is helping me! Maybe all the suffering is finally over! Tears run down my face, happy tears.
An hour later the doctor comes in with my parents. My parents are faking being sad. The doctor tells me, "You are about to have your surgery, we asked for your parents to come see you, because during the operation no one but doctors, surgeons, and registered nurses." My parents come and hug me. My mom whispers in my ear and says, "Don't take this hug to the heart, it doesn't mean anything, it's for show." My dad grabbed my hand, you could tell he was faking.
Soon they left the room. The doctor gave me some medications and put IV's in my arm. The doctor left and the nurse came in and handed me a small cup of water and a pill. She said, "Take this pill. We will start your operation as soon as the medication kicks in and you fall asleep." I grab the cup and take the pill wincing at the pain. She takes my cup and leaves the room. I lay there and stare at the roof. Three weeks away from suffering. After that, back to hell.
My eyes grew heavy. I closed my eyes and off to sleep I went.
