Vicky's POV
I was in deep thought as I typed the ending to my story on wattpad. I've been working on it all day and the comments that were telling me to update were gnawing on the back of my mind not allowing me to stop.
"...and they lived happily ever after."
Cheesy ending. I know. I was reading over it and thinking about wether I should do a sequel or not when Kendrick cleared his throat. I had totally forgotten he was walking with me to English.
"Um, hey?" He spoke and his deep voice vibrated throughout my chest. I nervously glanced up at him and he shyly looked at me. Wait, shyly? No way someone as attractive as him could be shy around me.
"...Hi," I say back hesitantly. "Do you know anything about our teacher?" he asks genuinely nervous. Amused, I decide to mess with him a little. "Yeah..." I start serious as ever, "I hear she eats children! Preferably attractive athletic males."
"So you think I'm attractive?" he asks smugly. "No, I'm saying you have nothing to worry about." I smirk glad to have wiped that smug smile off his face. I walk ahead into the class leaving him standing in the hallway with his jaw on the ground.
I sit in the front like I do all my classes and take out all the materials I will need for the hour and a half I have to spend in my favorite subject. I like to write. I have a creative eye when it comes to putting words in a certain way.
I see Kendrick walk in and I can't help but smile. He still looks shocked about what I said and I'm feeling quite arrogant. My triumphant attitude is short lived. Kendrick takes a seat behind me and leans close to my ear. "You want to play, sweetheart? Okay. Game on." He whispers and I get chills.
I gulp and slide to the front of my seat. What have I started?
Kendrick's P.O.V.
She's beautiful. She's sassy though. I'm still in shock about her hallway remark when I step into the English class. Yikes...the teacher actually does look like she eats children. I'm gonna have to find a way to entertain myself throughout this class I just know it. I see my entertainment in the front row arranging her supplies neatly on her desk. She looks smug. I need to figure out a way to wipe that smirk off her pretty little face. I see the seat behind her open and I jump for it. I slide the desk up until it is touching the back of her desk. I lean forward until I'm breathing on her neck. I see her tense up. "You want to play, sweetheart? Okay. Game on." I say not exactly knowing what I was going to do but whatever it is, it's going to be fun.
