"Jess?" Chloe said with a fake smile.
So many feelings were flushing through me. I knew they were talking right to my face, but all I did at this point was stare at their faces as they babbled on. I was tracing their expressions for guilt, that one thing that made me know they actually cared about my feelings. But just as thinking someone is sad can get confused with them being tired, thinking someone's guilty can really just be them feeling worried about their reputation. I mean, I wouldn't want to be the friend that hurts the other friend. But at the same time I never wanted to be the one to get hurt.
"We were going to text you, I thought you were at your grandmas." Even though Chloe was speaking I looked at Amanda; she couldn't look at me though. I saw the guilt, even more appeared as Chloe spewed her lies.
Now I looked at the liar, "No Chloe, that was last weekend. I told you this. Last weekend."
"Oh." She was searching her mind for defense but nothing seemed to be there.
Luckily her favorite person Zoey was there to help her out, "My mom and dad said I can only invite two, and no means for favorites it's just because our parents are friends." Little bitch sounded glad to say that. What a Regina George.
"Well sorry neither me or my mom is good enough for the invitation," I took off leaving my sarcasm to send the message of my fury. If I don't leave now I'm gonna punch somebody.
"What's your problem?" Of course typical Zoey wanted to get the last word in.
"My problem? You really don't get it do you?"
"Well I couldn't force my mom to say yes, I tried." she argued.
I laughed in sarcasm.
"I think you're overreacting," Zoey said.
I got closer to Zoey, she slightly backed away. "Well ya know what Zoey. I know you also have to always pretend that you're the victim but there's a point in life where you just have to face that you're a Cold!" I got closer, "Hearted!" Even closer now, "Bitch!" I screamed it right in her face and pushed her to the ice.
Chloe and Amanda quickly darted to Zoey's aid shouting "What the fuck Jess?!" And "Are you crazy."
I skated off as they shouted but Zoey quickly followed. Though this time she turned off the nice girl act and released her true colors.
She squeezed my shoulder and spun me around, "Sorry, ok! I'm sorry Amanda and Chloe like me better then you! They even admitted it to me at our endless sleepovers!" My heart sank right at that moment. My head is pounding. My heart is throbbing.
"You are just a little over dramatic crybaby who throws hissy fits when she doesn't get her way! Go cry in a corner and stop ruining our day!"
She stopped. The word was ringing. I looked at Amanda and Chloe, they were speechless. They didn't even defend me. They just stood there.
Then, I looked at Zoey and my insides boiled. I saw fear in her eyes for a second, then she was on the ground.
