8 Years Ago (Takara's POV)

"So what should we do now?" Kohana giggled as we sat on the fluffy carpet.

It was a Friday and we were at Atsuko's. Her parents were on a business trip for a month so we decided to stay there to keep her company. We just came back from another great day at school. Note the sarcasm..

"Homework." Ryo answered and threw our book bags at us.

"Awe come on!" Hikari complained. "I have a lot of homework!"

"Well..." Ryo smirked. "Then you better get started."

"Grr..."

"Do you have any homework Takara?" Atsuko asked.

"Nah-uh." I shook my head and watched as Atsuko walked into her walk-in-closet, probably gonna put together some clothes for dress up. No joke we always play dress up at her house... Because, why not? We are girls after all. Plus, it's kinda fun putting together random outfits to see if it'll look good on us..

"WHAT!?" Hikari exclaimed.

"I finished during classes." I shrugged.

"You're one smart cookie." Kohana giggled again as she started eating chips.

"Thanks." I giggled as well. I reached into my book bag and unwrapped a chocolate Reese's that is shaped like a heart. (A/N: No joke, that's what I'm seriously eating right now while typing... xD)

NOTE: This was written on Fanfiction a few years back.. I'm actually lying on the bed right now checking for grammar errors XD

"Hey! Guys! Check this out!" Atsuko shouted.

"Where are you?" Ryo raised her eyebrows and looked around in confusion.

"Closet!"

"What the hell are you doing there? Trying to find a way to Narnia?" Ryo asked jokingly.

"Just come here!"

We all looked at each other and threw down what we were holding. Well me being a chocolate lover, I took it with... Hehe..

"There's like books in this secret compartment." Atsuko excitedly placed the dusty books on the table.

"Eww!" Hikari back away and waved her hand. "I'm so not touching that..." She said and Ryo sighed.

"So what? It's just books." I said.

"In a secret compartment?"

"Well, never mind." I said and threw the chocolate wrapper away, reaching for a dusty book. "It's a diary..."

"Wow... It's very old..." Ryo examined from over my shoulder.

"It's my grandmother's..." Atsuko said sadly when she saw the handwriting and we all fell silent. "Let's see what she said...It could be important for it to be in there..."

"Here." I gave a small smile and carefully handed her the diary.

Atsuko opened to the middle of the diary and started reading. "..It was the night of our mission. Le Renard Écarlate had a mission to steal back an invention made by the Japanese Leonardo Da Vinci."
