The ride home was completely silent apart from the cars engine, and the occasional sob. I don't think Matt knew what to do. His best friend was cheating on his sisters best friend and she was also the chick he lived with. He'll choose Cam's side eventually I know he will. I wonder if he knew that Cam was cheating on me.
He pulled in the drive way and I took a deep breath and got out of the car, I had a feeling it was going to be a long and depressing night. Straight back to the freezer for ice cream I say. "Where's the vodka?" I mumbled to no one in particular but I'm guessing it reached Matt's ears because he immediately went over to the liquor cabinet and took out all the alcohol he could find and tipped it down the sink.
"What are you doing? I was gonna drink that." I said leaning over the sink trying to grab the bottle from him.
"No you don't need any of that. Go eat some ice cream or some thing isn't that what girls do when they are heart broken?" he continued emptying the bottle.
"Matt ... can I ask you something?" I suddenly went all serious.
"As long as your not asking me out, go ahead." he smirked.
"Did you know?"
"Know what?" he gulped and took a step back.
"Did you know about the girl?" my voice cracked a little, he looked nervous now so I'm guessing he did.
"Um ... look Anna I really don't think this is any of my business I'd like to keep out of it." he mumbled rubbing the back of his neck.
"You did." I sighed and walked out of the kitchen, not even bothering about my ice cream anymore. I slammed my bedroom door and grabbed my stuff I was organizing before we left to go to Cam's. I sighed and headed to the bathroom to have a shower.
"Anna there's some one here to see you." Matt shouted as I got out of the shower. I groaned and walked out in my towel I couldn't be bothered getting dressed.
I walked out only to be met by Matt trying to shove Cam out the door. Wait why is he shoving him out the door???
"Anna!" he called.
"Let him in, I wanna hear his excuse." I said quietly and Matt looked at me strange. His eye seemed to be telling me not to let him in, it was weird.
"So what's this genius excuse of yours?" I said sitting on the couch carefully making sure my towel wouldn't fall off. Wasn't really in the mood to flash to the world.
"I'm sorry! I'm so so sorry. You weren't meant to find out." he explained and I actually
laughed I thought it was funny.
"What's so funny?"
"I wasn't supposed to find out? That's your excuse? Okay you can go now." I smiled fakely and got up and left to get dressed, and I could sworn I heard Matt laugh.
Ten o'clock
There's just one thing that's getting in the way
When we go up to bed, your just no good it's such a shame
I look into your eyes, I want to get to know you
And then you make this noise and it's apparent it's all over
I sighed and leaned over to the coffee table that was situated in the middle of the lounge. It was Cam. Matt laughed at me. "What?" I asked as I pressed ignore on my phone and placed it back down.
"Does that song apply to Cam?"
"Sure does." I said sarcastically.
Then about two minutes later it started to ring again, this time it was Ally so I picked it up and went into the bedroom. "Hey."
"Hey how'd you go with Cam?" she asked instantly, I hadn't told her about this 'Nela' chick yet.
"Um well I went over there with Matt and there was girl there ... wearing my robe." I said and she gasped in horror.
"Shit oh my god what did you do?" She asked.
"I left and ate some ice cream, I've been watching the Jack Ass Marathon with your jack ass of a brother." I said.
"Aw ok, sounds like a good night." She started sarcastically. "I'm sorry bout Cam that sucks, but why did you go over with Matt?" she asked.
"He said Cam called him and told him to come over and he invited me to come too." I said.
"But why would he invite Matt over if he had someone else over, coz Matt can't keep stuff like that to himself."
"Matt knew, I asked him earlier and he couldn't come up with a answer. Just another reason why he's a jack ass. I'm not sure maybe he's friends with the girl because he knew who she was. Her name was Nela."
"Oh I know her she's that slut that went out with Matty when they were in high school, broke my brothers heart. That was the chick that was at Cam's?"
"Yeah he said her name."
"So Cam hooked up with his best friends ex, that'll be interesting to see what happens. It's not an easy thing for him to talk about. My suggestion to you when they meet up is to stand back and watch the fire works." She giggled.
"They've already met up. But nothing happened." I said.
"Oh ok well when he gets angry you'll know it. Well babes I gotta get back to work, I'll see you in the morning."
"Ok bye." I said and shut my phone. I walked back out to the lounge where Matt was. Why hadn't he told me that this 'Nela' Chick was his ex, why wasn't he pissed at Cam.
"Was that Ally?" he asked. And one more question, why is he being so nice!?
"Yeah... Um Matt why didn't you say something about that girl? Ally told me." I said quietly, he sighed and turned to me.
"She's my ex, look I knew they were friends and they were hanging out but I honestly didn't know he was fooling around with her. And if I did I swear to you, even though we don't get along well I would tell you." He said and walked out of the room, I sat there for a while just shocked. That was the most he's ever said to me before. I turned off the TV and headed to bed.
