"Oi you want some food?" Matt asked with a mouthful of food as he stuck his round the side of my door. I was in my room on the computer talking to my friend about what happened with Cam.
"No I'm good thanks." I pulled a face and turned back to my laptop.
"Come on Anna you haven't had anything all day." he said now walking over to me.
"Ah fine just let me finish talking to Toby." I groaned and he laughed.
"Tell him I said hi." As he walked out of my room.
'hey I gotta go have something to eat, Matthew says hi :) have a good one thanks for the advice.' I typed quickly. 'okay tiger have a good night tell Matthew I said hi as well. night xoxox' He replied quickly, smiled and logged off.
Ally had left two hours ago and I was finding it hard to realize that I was now alone with her brother, and he was being quite nice which I thought weird. I walked out to the dining room and Matt was in the kitchen dishing up vegetable's and chicken. "Smells good." I commented as I took a seat at the table.
"Yeah it's my special recipe." He replied as he set a massive plate in front of me.
"Matt I can't eat all of that!" I scoffed he had a small plate he obviously go them mixed up. "I think you got our plates mixed up."
"Nope."
"Matt!" I groaned and he laughed at me.
"Come on eat up Anna doesn't matter if you don't eat much but you must be hungry you haven't eaten all day." he sat down as well and started eating. I sighed and picked up a fork.
"You're evil you know .... holy moley that's good." I said in between mouthfuls. Matt laughed at me.
"What can I say it's a talent." he smirked at me and I couldn't hold in a smile that spread across my face he's so cocky. But it's kind of cute. Ugh! What's wrong with me!
"Well someone has a big ego." I giggled.
"Yeah you're ex does have a big ego doesn't he." Matt smirked back and I gasped and he laughed at me.
"That wasn't very nice!" I fake pouted and he poked his toung out at me.
"Why do you care about him? He's you're ex you don't have to care about him anymore." He said and he was being quite serious. I dropped my fork I wasn't expecting that. I looked up at him and he realized that wasn't the smartest thing to say.
"If you haven't realized it happened yesterday, I don't know what kind of stories you've been reading but it doesn't take five minutes to get over your boyfriend cheating on you." I said and got up.
"Anna I'm sorry." he said getting up to follow me. He grabbed my hand and turned me around. "Come on I didn't mean it like that. He pleaded with caring eyes. I want to know why he was being so nice.
"Why are you being so nice!" I yelled.
"If you haven't noticed he cheated on you with my ex, I know how you feel." He said quietly.
"Did your girlfriend forget about you're parents funeral?" I growled.
"Well no but that's not the point Anna he's no good for you, just like Nela was no good for me." He explained. I shook my head.
"I have to go see him." I whispered grabbing my key's off the table.
"No! No you don't need to see him! He was so bad to you, you deserve so much better than him." he sounded so truthful. "Please just leave him!" he pleaded and I questioned his reasons.
"Why are you so desperate for me not to see Cam?"
"Because he's fucking Nela! I've been getting phone calls all day! Did you wonder where your phone was all day? Do you really wanna see the pictures he's been sending? He's a fucking prick and he doesn't care he said you were his bit on the side!" he yelled. Did he just say that? I was with Cam for nearly a whole year a whole year of nothingness. I looked up at him, trying unsuccessfully to blink back tears. He looked at me with sadness in his eyes and I could just tell that he was trying to protect me but I didn't know why.
"Why are you protecting me!" I yelled, letting the tears roll down my cheeks.
"Anna I've known you longer than I've known Cam, do you remember when we used to be friends? Come on I care about you even though I may not show it!" Now that got my attention, my head shot up. "Do you remember?" he came closer to me and he pulled me into a hug and I suddenly burst into tears.
"Did you miss me!" Ally came striding through the front door right on cue because that's how things work in my life. "Whoa obviously not, what did I miss?" she giggled when she saw me and matt hugging in the middle of the hall way. "What did you do to her Matthew James Gordon!" seeing my tears she went into panic mode. She slapped him hard upside the head. I giggled and let go of him.
"Dude it wasn't me!" he complained as Ally continued to slap him silly.
"Ally stop will you! It wasn't him." I giggled again and Matt flashed me a cheeky smile, wow that's a nice smile. I've never noticed that. Ah what am I saying!
"Okay if you say so, but seriously, I've been gone for nearly three hours and you're already seducing her!" she scolded Matt and I laughed heading back to the dining room.
"I am not, you just have really bad timing, so why are you here?" Matt asked, he seemed peeved that his sister had interrupted us.
"I just came to get my last box, remember that one you suggested we throw in the bin? The one wit all my precious shoes?" she shook her finger her at him, and he laughed at her.
She stayed for about half an hour with Matt continually rolling his eyes at her, she caught him twice which was very amusing and she yelled at him which made me are laugh. When she left she left me in my room, I decided to have a shower. But just as I got up to get my PJ's and my towel there was a knock on the door. "Hey." Matt smiled as I opened the door for him.
"Hi."
"I'm sorry about before, I was gonna tell you later. And it defiantly wasn't going to be like that." he said quietly taking my phone out of his pocket and handing it back to me. "I deleted all the messages and the pictures too, I thought you could do with out those."
"Aw thanks Matt." I hugged him and leaned up and kissed his cheek.
"No worries, well I'm gonna watch a movie. Wanna watch Cinderella with me?" he asked with a grin.
"Um, sure." I giggled, he smiled back and grabbed my hand dragging me to the lounge room.
