The Billion dollar Bride

Prologue

"Congratulations to the Newly weds!" sabi ng emcee as the crowd cheered for them

syempre kasama na ko don, I'm happy that to attend an old friend's wedding and made her dream wedding into a reality.

"And I would like to thank the Company who organized my dream wedding. A very special thanks to you Eli! Love you!" sabi ni Chrizel, she was my classmate and close friend noong high school back in the Philippines, and look at her now getting married to the love of her life here in France. I gave her a smile and raised my glass of champagne as cheers and she continued with her speech.

After the wedding I drove straight back to the company to get some files, andami kaseng up coming weddings here in France, araw araw ata may na e-engage eh, but oh well beneficial for me and my company I guess.

"Miss Eli, you should've rested, you have a flight later in the evening" sabi ng Secretary kong minsan parang nanay ko na hahaha "I will Allie, I'll just get some files, and you can go home too after I get the files. d'accord? (okay?). "mais-- (but--) *sigh* Bien, Miss Eli. drive safe" I chuckled at her response. I took the files na and went home to pack some things.

I boarded the private plane and was welcomed by my Kuya's friend, the pilot, siya lang kase pinagkakatiwalaan ni kuya na sumundo, ewan ko ba don. I took a seat and closed my eyes.

"Refreshments Mademoiselle?" the flight attendant asked but I reply with a kind no and took a nap since this flight will be for an hour and a half.

nagising ako when I felt the plane land.

"Good evening, Mademoiselle Elianna, Air France Welcomes you back to Aosta, Italy. The local time is 9:45 pm. Please remain seated until the captain turns off the "fasten seat belt sign". Thank you" I nodded and waited until pwede na bumaba ng plane.

ah Aosta, I've missed you it's been 3 years na. I yawned and looked around to see kung sino susundo sakin until i spotted a man with a big Placard with words written 'Welcome Home!My Princess' hay nako! and extra as ever, I rolled my eyes and chuckled at pinuntahan sya. I ran to him and gave him a big hug "Kuya! I missed you" sabi ko "Me too Princess! come on now mom's waiting.

when we arrived, I greeted everyone and it seems mom and dad weren't home pala, sinamahan na lang ako ni Kuya kumain and we said our good nights.

*The next Morning*

"Mi Chica what do you think?" Sabi ng pinaka maganda kong bestfriend while showing me multiple dresses, "pang ilan na yan Cat hahaha di pa ba tayo tapos?" Sabi ko and she rolled her eyes "Chica, you need to be the prettiest tonight! It's hard to choose hay! They all look good on you!" I chuckled as she goes crazy choosing from all the dresses. Habang nag aantay ako kay Cat, I received a text message from Anthony, my kuya. "Um. Cat sabi ni Kuya may binili na daw siyang dress for me" sabi ko and I know she'll get mad when she hears his name "ugh I can't believe na unahan nya ko! Epal talaga yang kuya mo hmp!" She sighs nag effort pa din naman kase siya "well wala naman tayong magagawa diyan l, I'll just choose a dress as a gift to you hihi as a welcome back gift" before I could say anything she happily went to the front desk to pay. I sighed and sat down and texted my secretary for updates ng upcoming events here in Italy since andito naman ako why not handle them myself.

"Chica! I'm done na, should we go?" Sabi ni Cat and tumango na ko and we went to the salon to get ready and everything.

*Palazzo de Caiazzo*

"A toast to another year of life and Cheers to More happiness for the Caiazzo Household!" Dad said as An ending to his birthday speech and we all raised our glass of champagne and drink

"nako it looks like tito doesn't age at all" sabi ni Cat and finished her glass "parang tanggera ka pa din Cat ano ba yan" i chuckled as I hear my brother's comment "heh! Don't make comments about my life because I don't make comments about yours" aba aba iba din sagot ni Cat, teka, parang narinig ko na yan before ah, san nga ba? I snapped out of my thought as I still hear constant bickering from My best friend and Brother, I swear they're born to be enemies talaga, but you know what? Bagay nga sila parang mga aso't pusa hahaha "nako they're fighting nanaman, should we stop them?" Sabi ni Sandra ang isa sa mga kambal kong pinsan, "nah, even if we stop them wala pa din mangyayare" sabi ni Adri kakambal nya. Napailing ako and went to the balcony, I was beginning to feel stuffy sa ball room eh.

I sat down and looked at the moon, I closed my eyes for a short moment

"The moon is beautiful, isn't it?" Sabi nya as the moon shines above us

"It definitely is, and I love you too" 

"Princess, His Highness, The Duke is looking for you" napamulat ako bigla, was I here too long na? I shook my head "alright" sabi ko at tumayo na

*Knock* *knock *

"Come in"  —

"My dear we need to talk" — my heart was beating so fast, parang alam kong di maganda yung lalabas na news sa bibig ni mom

"What is it momma?"

*inhales deeply* "you're getting married"
You're getting married...

             Getting Married...

It continues on replaying on my head... teka, ano daw? I'm not sure if I heard it correctly, nabibingi na ata ako.

"You're getting Married Elianna" my dad repeated my mom's words and I looked at them in disbelief. I looked around my dad's study and saw familiar faces, teka nga aren't they "his" parents? Wait oh no, sana wag naman po. I closed my eyes and let out a big sigh

Marriage has never been on my list. Too focused in my career and growing company, it's true that I like making other's dream weddings come true but for me? Tangina ayoko matali, I haven't even finished my bucket list.

And damn, sino ba ang pesteng malas na lalakeng magpapakasal saken?!

"I believe it would be me"  tumingin ako sa entrance ng door and what the fuck? I couldn't believe my eyes.
