You're Normal

You are normal,
Yes you are,
You're just another person,
Who has an unseen scar.

You smile all the time,
As your heart turns to slime,
And how could they overlook,
As you visibly shook,
Crying without a voice,
Crying without a noise.

How can someone believe you're strong?
When you're so scared and weak,
As everyone else thinks you're wrong,
And you're the only freak.

How can someone make you believe you're beautiful,
When your own heart is so deceitful?
How can they expect us to stand firm on our ground,
When our whole universe is turning around?

Why do we feel so ugly,
As we fight so bravely,
Covered in sand, mud and dust,
When all they can think of is greed, hate and lust?

This poem means a lot to me because these thoughts have always lingered in my brain. I've written this poem with all the deepest thoughts I've ever had.

Question of the day
Any thoughts or reviews on the poems so far? Please don't feel shy to answer the questions or point out any mistakes. I'll be glad to correct myself. And one more question.
(promise you it's the last)
Can anyone suggest a book cover for 'The Real Feelings'? I'm tragically confused over it.
