♦ Jesse's Pov ♦

Why the heck is she here?! I kept pondering to myself...I saw Maya around Beacontown today...HOW?! How is this even possible?! She and Aiden and Gill were trapped in Sky City....how did She and Aiden escape?! And if THEY escaped then...where's Gill? I could only assume the worse; did Maya kill him?

As I briefly examined my thoughts when Petra came busting into my- uhh, our house in such a hurry...I was impressed of her speed myself! Before I could ask her how her day was or seduce her with my amazing flirting skills, she quickly hugged me and stared into my eyes, "Did you...by any chance...see Maya in Beacontown today?" She asked, Maya, wait...did she see Maya too?! So that means I'm not crazy then! With a serious tone I replied, "Yes...yes I did, and she really doesn't look happy to see me..."

She exchanged a surprised and concerned look and replied rather a little top fast, "What? What happened? What did she do? What did you do?! Did she get and attack you?! Oh I swear if-" I held my index finger against her soft peachy lips I've grown to love. She stated silent, looked at my finder against her mouth and then looked into my eyes, "Shh, you worry to much princess~ I promise everything's gonna be fine! Nothing bad will happen I promise!" I pulled my finger away from her lips and pulled her closer...wrapping my embracing arms around her waist. She placed her hands on my chest and looked at me, giving me a we-should-be-careful glare. "Still..." She paused, hugging me tightly, "We should be careful...who know what she could be planning."

It was now close to four o' clock in the afternoon and Petra decided to take a nap, I decided I would join her and we both fell asleep on our bed.

♦ Petra's Pov ♦

I found myself in the forest. It was dark, misty, isolated. "Hello?!" I shouted, "Jesse? Is....is anyone here?" There was no answer. Suddenly, I glanced behind me, darkness...pitch black began engulfing what seemed like trees and bushes behind me. Natural instinct...I ran in the opposite direction. I tripped on a rock....the darkness caught up with me. Void. nothingness in every direction. I heard screaming. I faded away. I screamed. It all blacked out.

"AHH!" I awoke with an uneasy feeling in my stomach...I felt dizzy but it soon faded away as I took deep breaths; I looked around the room, Jesse was no where to be seen. It was dark outside so I assumed it was a?ready late at night, the blueish white colour of light illuminated the room, making it my only light source. I have to look for Jesse but where he could be right now, the same dream? This is the second time! Ugh!

"Hey there Petra!" A voice called out from across the room...but not Jesse's voice...it sounded like a female, "It's been a long time since we've talked...won't you agree?" She finished, giggling devilishly as we pierced into each other's eyes with a 'calm rage.' Maya... "What do you want Maya?! Why are you in Jesse's house?!" My voice sounded louder, packed with confusion and anger, "Well well well, that's no way to treat your guest...is it Petra? I thought you knew better!" I got out of bed and faced her, my emotions angrier than a bull, "You didn't answer my question Maya! Why. Are. You. Here?!"

Maya sighed and placed her hands up in the air, like she surrendered, "Alright Alright, chill girl! I'm here for only one word...Revenge!" I mentally laughed my brains out at how cliche she sounded right now. "Do you even know how much you hurt me?" She spoke up, "You sent us to prison...sure I understand we were more on the villain side but that doesn't mean your boyfriend had to leave us there with no food or water or even sunlight for years! We had to escape and steel food to survive!" What? Jesse never did that!  "Jesse never did that! He told the guards to keep you in eye's sight so you won't do shenanigans again!" She looked at me amused, "Defending your boyfriend I see?" Yeah no sh!t Sherlock! "Get out Maya, violent revenge is never the right answer!" I said trying to convince her that being good isn't a bad thing, "That's easy for you to say! You have everything!" She paused, taking a deep breaths and begins to drop some tears, "You have a home, friends, people who 'worship you like Gods', heck...you even have a loving boyfriend!" She exclaimed with anger, I hadn't even thought of it that way...Maya was right, I guess I have been a little selfish. "I have to admit, I did love Aiden, more than a friend...but YOU and JESSE took him away from me!" She yelled, I didn't know what else to do, so I stood there listening to her complaints, "But today...today my sweet Petra," Maya paused, slowly moving her hand behind her back. I looked at her confused but before I could do anything, she sprinted towards me, punching me so hard in the stomach that I fell back, "OW!" I hugged my stomach tightly as I tried to hold in the pain, "Today...I will make Jesse's life miserable!" She laughed devilishly...I soon snapped back to reality and saw a knife in her hand, "WHAT ARE-" I couldn't finish...I felt pain...I wanted to cry, she......she stabbed...me. I saw her...her gaze pierced onto my face, looking at with pure sinful humor. "Where is your Jesse now huh?" She paused again, pulling out the knife from my stomach...I let my tears fall as the pain was to much to bare. "If your so called boyfriend loved you," She gripped her knife stiffly and then aimed it towards my neck. I gasped and quickly shifted a bit as I was too weak to get up. She stabbed my shoulder...I cried. "He would have been here to save you."

She ran away...

She left the room...

I was bleeding...

I needed help...

I tried to stand up...

I fell down...

Jesse...where are you?

I cried...

I blacked out...

I awoke to an annoying beeping sound; I was resting on a very comfortable bed, "Where...? Where am I?" I tried to get up. I felt pain near my chest. I looked down, from my waist to my chest was covered and wrapped in bandages. I am so confused right now...meh, story of my life.

I looked around the room...Am I in the hospital?! What the- "Good morning Petra!" I swiftly rotated my head towards the direction of the voice. JESSE!  "Jesse!" I was about to get up from the bed when he suddenly stopped me, "No, you have to say still, your injuries aren't fully healed yet..." He sadly smiled and gently touched my cheek, "Wait. Why am I here? What happened?" I was dumbfounded. I couldn't remember anything at this point. "You, you don't remember anything?"

"Nope!" I will admit...I was a rather confused human being right now...with a huge smile on my face!
