Lately Jaelynn has been extra moody more than usual. She will snap at anything so fast and then get depressed. It's like living with two people.
"Yo are we going out to eat with the crew?" My no asked me.
I nodded "yeah let me just tell Jaelynn hopefully she won't bite my head off" making my way to the room where she was "I'm going to go out with my boys".
She turned to me "okay..."
I was going to ask but I rather not "So are you going to be okay while I'm gone?".
"Excuse me?! I'm an adult thank you" she rolled her eyes.
"You know what you're totally right. I'll FaceTime you later okay?". She nodded and didn't say anything. This has been our life for the past month.
Rubbing my hand over face this girl was stressing g me out for real.
"We out?" My boy asked me. I nodded and we both walked out the house and made our way to the car. "What's up? You seem bothered?".
"It's Jaelynn she's been moody as hell lately. I feel like I'm walking on eggshells around her".
"Oh shit man she's pregnant. Don't even stress over that it comes with it".
"What are you talking about? She's not pregnant!" This boy is delusional.
"How do you know? She might be and she doesn't even know yet. Or maybe she thinks she is and she's not telling you anything" he side eyed me.
Nah, she would've told me if she thought she was pregnant. That's one thing we didn't do is keep things from each other.
"Got you thinking right?" He laughed.

Once we got to the restaurant all I could think about is what my boy told me. I couldn't chime in the conversations going on around the table. Maybe if I check up on her it'll make me feel better.
Pulling out my phone I pressed on my FaceTime and proceeded to call her...

Her beautiful face appeared on my screen. I instantly smile "I see you went out".
She nodded "yeah I didn't want to be alone so I called Jill and she insisted I needed to get out".
"You don't seem not like yourself today. What's wrong?" I asked. She didn't look like her usual upbeat face on point self.
"I don't know I just feel like crap" she admitted. I felt bad for her because I wanted her to be happy.
"She's not feeling good either don't let her fool you" I heard her friend Jill chime in. The phone screen went black "girl do not put me on this FaceTime" I laughed a little.
Jaelynn appeared on my screen again "anyway before we were interrupted" she side eyed Jill.
"Don't be mad at me. You done snapped at me three times before we got here. And I know it's not your period so don't even try it".
"Don't listen to her. She apparently had too much to drink already".
"Maybe she's right though If you don't feel right we should get you checked out". She sighed loudly and looked away for a second.
"I'm fine! This is so stupid! Is this why you called me to begin with?!" Her mood changed.
"Please get her checked out Elijah before she ends up stabbing one of us" Jillian yelled.
Knowing how stubborn Jaelynn is getting to see a doctor isn't going to be easy. I might have to trick her into going to see one. Just staring at her face and you can see something was wrong.
"Anyway we are about to leave so I'll see you at home" she smiled.
"Okay and don't think this conversation is over by any chance. When we get home I will make sure we make that appointment".
She rolled her eyes and hung up on me.
"Trust me bro she's pregnant. Watch and learn" My boy cheesed. "Let's have a toast to Elijah about to be a dad" everyone looked at me with wide eyes.
"He's crazy do not listen to him. Nothing is confirmed yet".
"Let's Just toast anyway because sooner or later he will find out he's going to be a dad" My boy joked. Everyone raised up there glasses and saluted me.
