ELIJAH POV

When I got home from embarrassing myself in front of Jaelynn I went off on Damian. He knew how fucked up I was and he still let me do what I wanted. Jaelynn was right though... some friend I got.

Focusing on the music at the moment. I'll give Jaelynn her space for now. Until she forgets what happened couple of nights before.

Sitting in the chair as the music played all I could think is Jaelynn. And how I fucked up big time. Damn!.

Hearing the door bell ring continuously. Where is everyone today? Getting up I made my way to the front door. Opening the door I see the one person who is the cause of this all.

"Hey baby! Miss me?!" Alexis smiled big.

"Go home! And leave me alone" I tried slamming the door in her face but she put her foot in between the door and the wall.

"Wait? I heard you and Jaelynn broke up... too bad" she moved closer.

"That's none of your business. But you made it your business when you sent me that video" now I was getting upset.

"Don't act like you didn't like it... and plus you was into it more than I was" she smirked.

"Don't you have some other dudes you can harass?" She stood there like she accomplished something.

"Elijah we been together for a long time. Remember I was the one who was pregnant first. We can have that family back" she moved even closer.

"I'm good. I'm trying to get back the family I had before. Until you ruined that".

She moved closer closing us in. Personal space didn't exist anymore. "I miss you. I miss us. We were the power couple. The goals others wanted in their relationships" she grabbed my face and leaned in to kiss me. Me pulling back but she leaned in quickly.

Pushing her off of me "What the fuck is your problem? Do you not understand that it's over" I yelled.

Looking behind Alexis I see Jaelynn standing there with her mouth open. I had no idea she was coming over here. Dammit!.

Pushing Alexis to the side and jogging to Jaelynn who put her hand up to stop me. "Hey didn't know you were stopping by".

"You look busy I'm just coming for the rest of my things" she walked pass me and went into the house. This time I ran after her slamming the door in Alexis face. Not again!.

I waited as she was done getting her things. Standing there as she came downstairs. She looked so pretty today. "I just wanted to say she came here planning to do that".

Jaelynn nodded "I can tell but you didn't stop it so.."

Closing my eyes because she just set me back to square one. "Anyway when you have time from Alexis my doctors appointment is tomorrow at 2".

I nodded "I'll be there, thank you". She gave me a small smile and walked out. Punching the wall in aggravation. If I known she was stopping by I could've done something nice for her.

I went back to the studio and rolled one up. This is too much stress for me to deal with at the moment.

JAELYNN POV

Sitting in this doctors office waiting for Elijah to show up. Unless he's busy with Alexis like he was yesterday. I guess he picked her over me. Whatever I'm not going to let that get to me. This baby is my main focus at the moment.

"I'm sorry I'm late" Elijah walked in and looked around.

"You're not late... don't worry" he took a seat next to me and I felt him glancing at me every now and then.

"What's this appointment about anyway?" He asked.

"Just a normal check up nothing else" I didn't even look at him I was so busy flipping through his magazine.

The nurse called me inside and Elijah followed. She sat down and took my vitals. Once she took my blood pressure she made a noise. "Let's check this again to make sure this machine is reading this right" she smiled.

Not thinking anything of it she did it again. "Yeah this isn't good. You're blood pressure is dangerously high. I would need you to go straight to the hospital".

"Huh? Why?" I asked.

"Once you get the hospital they'll explain everything to you. But you need to go now!" She said. I nodded and Elijah followed me worried. I was so confused on what was happening.

At the hospital they made me change and put that monitor belt around my stomach and also put on the blood pressure machine.

"Why am I here?" I asked.

"Well it seems your blood pressure is very high and that can be dangerous for you and the baby. So you will have to stay here until it goes down" the nurse said.

Elijah looked worried. He kept looking at the blood pressure machine to see if the numbers were going down.

"Hope everything is okay" he said.

Glancing at him quickly I see the doctor walking in. "Hello again. I have to ask have you been under any stress lately?". I glanced at Elijah again and looked at the doctor "what would be counted as stress?".

"You know anything that would have you worried or angry".

"Yeah a little" I lied.

"Well that seems to be the reason why your blood pressure is so high. You need to be stress free for a few weeks. So whatever is stressing you out I would recommend you let it go".

Easier said than done.

I nodded. He smiled and walked out. Elijah seemed even more worried.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"This is my fault. I'm sorry" he looked down.

"Not necessarily... it's more of Alexis fault. But whatever like the doctor said I need to be stress free".

He nodded "and to make it clear I didn't want anything with Alexis. I only want one person and that's you. No one else. I wish you would give me another chance to prove to you how serious I am".

"What I saw today in front of me didn't show me anything but what I already know". I would have no problem giving him another chance but he showed me enough today.
