I pulled the silk-like sheet up to the top of my body, preventing the cold air from brushing against my light skin. A gust of wind swiped the pieces of my dark chocolate hair away from my face. The air invaded the warmth I had only seconds ago. My sensitive skin immediately sensed the change of temperature, the tip of my nose slowly descended from a comfortable degree to a snipping coolness.
I scrunched my nose in disapproval of summer finally leaving and fall coming in full swing. I definitely love summer. In fact, I should have been a summer baby rather than a winter one.
I buried my face into a thick pillow, shunning myself from the unwelcoming air and the bright light that was resting where my face was position. I tugged my lips up, having a small smile of triumph. Nothing will defeat me when it comes down to getting some sleep.
Sleep, sleep, sleep, if you were a person I'd date you! I thought to myself, holding in a giggle.
I inhaled deeply to fill my nose with my favorite scent, raspberries. One deep breath later and my lung capacity was full, my sense of smell was overwhelmed with the aroma of body cologne and freshly washed sheets.
I could feel my grin pull away as my eyebrows knitted together. My eyes emerged from the depths of my eye sockets, slowly spreading open as I took in the view. An unfamiliar color of black were on the walls, harshly greeting me.
A huge window of white light blinded me, it was surely daytime. I moved my eyes and head swiftly upward, avoiding the light but being trapped by a alluring sight. A beautiful golden chandelier hung down from the high ceiling, it was at the center of the room, definitely not of my room.
I can't even afford to get Beyoncé tickets!
I pushed off the light brown blanket and hurried off the bed. Unfortunately, my foot got tangled somewhere in the blanket and so my body got toss to the floor, more specifically, on a carpet that was underneath the bed, but stretched far out. I rose to my feet and glanced at myself, realizing my dress rode up, I tugged it down to my thighs.
A cool breeze from the half open window skimmed across my exposed skin. My body erupted with goosebumps and I couldn't help but shiver. I placed my arms around me and moved my hands up and down to return the warmth I lost.
I approached the source of coldness and looked out the window, below me were trees losing their leaves and a empty rode. Surprisingly, no cars were outside. I grabbed the window handle and shut the window completely. Making it impossible for the wind to slip inside and touch my bare skin.
I turned around and my blue eyes scanned the room for my wallet that held my phone, nothing. I then went to the bed and looked under the blanket and up top, still nothing. I bit my bottom lip and wiggled my toes, realizing that my heels snapped the night before.
I closed my eyes and thought back to before I passed out. I can almost feel the amount of times I fell down as I recalled the incidents. I can almost feel my arm getting pulled towards a furious leader.
I can definitely feel the pit in my stomach weigh me down, I could feel a heavy sensation in my chest, the dryness of my throat and the beats of my heart screaming in my ears. The blood in my veins stood still as I made my way to the door knob.
My hand wraps around the silver round knob as I slightly twist. I was barely able to turn the knob any further before realizing it was locked. My breath hitched and my heart skipped a beat.
