"We have some making up to do."

Alex looked up startled and a look of betrayal passed his features. I untangled myself from him and glanced back at L confused as well. Wasnt she supposed to be on his side? Or well werent they like friends also?
"What do you mean?" I asked frowning.
"He called you all kinds of names and youre just going to leave with him? That was a dick move. Anyone a mile away could see hes a dickhead." L protested making her way into the room.
"I-"
"L watch your mouth. This doesnt concern you." Alex said through clenched teeth. I could feel the anger raidiating off him and I groaned internally. Once Alex got riled up no one could keep him from saying stupid things. With everything thats been going on hes a bomb with a timer thats ticking.
L pushed passed me and pointed her finger at his chest. She stood eyes to nose with him and still looked intimidating. "You. You shut your mouth. If you honestly cared about Juliet you wouldnt have treated her like shit a couple minutes ago."
She turned as her eyes sliced to me. I felt myself shrink back a little. "And you. Youre so desperate to leave with someone who called you pathetic and worthless? To leave people who care about you?" Her voice betrayed her anger a little and turned soft when she said the last part.
How could I not realize how much she cared about me. How much I cared about her. We had grown close and she was the only friend ive had besides Alex.
"Where would you guys even go? May I remind you we are all wanted now. Not just me. You cant go back to living normal lives. You cant just forget everything you saw here. You cant forget this world." She was seething at this point. Her hands were waving around with every word she spoke almost as if she was trying to push the words into our heads.
"I cant forget but I can at least try. I dont care where we go L. Alex and I have been together since kids. I cant just leave him or let him leave. So he said a couple of mean things. Like I said we are all hurting right now. Can you blame him really? You were just arguing with E.J. the same way." I glanced over at Alex praying what I said was in fact the way he felt. He let his view fall to the floor and brought his hand up to rub the back of his neck.
"Not the way Alex attacked you. Not once did I call him pathetic or anything. Before you go around pointing fingers get your facts straight." She barked out. She sighed and her shoulders slumped a little before she regained her composure.
"Julie cant you see? I know you love him but can you even call this a relationship? Alex freaks out over anything. If anyone so much as touches your shoulder he'll flip his shit and get ready to kill anyone. If you even think differently than him he'll scream and yell until you take his side." Her tone changed drastically. She was pleading for me to see. To understand but I couldnt. I couldnt because that wasnt true. Alex does his best to protect me. Even if its from myself.
At this Alex threw his hands up in the air and rolled his eyes. "Are you even listening to yourself right now? Am I the only on with a fucking brain around here? We are in a house filled with serial killers." He hissed. He turned to L his gaze threatning. He was standing at his full height challenging her. "For all we know it was Jack who killed our families."
L let out a dry laugh before Alex continued. "We have to leave. All of us. The longer we stay the more hectic it gets." He stepped closer to us and he sighed angrily. "Its not safe here. It never was."
"Alex dont you dare try and pull that shit with me. I dont give a fuck if you try to hurt me. Fucking think you asshole. Right now youre angry. Youre acting on impulse. You are toxic to everyone around you. This is the safest place for us to be. If we leave the whole world would be coming after us. Jane is already hunting us, we have a bounty on our heads, and do you really think the pastas would just let us leave?" She hissed in reply. Her fists were balled up and it looked like she was ready to swing at Alex.
I plopped down on the ground and sighed. Im tired of all of this. I really am. But L is right. There is no forgetting this. There is no going back to normal. We need to grow up.
They argued a little bit more before realizing I was sitting on the floor drawing patterns on my legs. Alex crouched down and tilted his head to the side while L dropped down to join me.
"Well?" Alex raised an eyebrow and waited for me to respond. I shrugged my shoulders and pulled him down to sit with us.
"I think... I think we should stay here." Alex pulled away from me but realized what he was doing was proving L right. She shook her head and he sighed before intertwining our hands and rubbing his thigh with his other hand.
"Why?" He asked exasperatingly.
"Dont you see. Shes right. Where are we going to go. They think we killed our own families. Everyone recognized us in two seconds. Jane has already kidnapped both of you and I doubt shes just going to stop trying to kill us anytime soon. We need to stay here."
He let out a loud sigh and pulled me closer to him and buried his face in the curve of my neck. We stayed like that for a while before L let out a cough to remind us of her presence. I rolled my eyes at her and pushed Alex back a little before saying "It's decided then. We are staying here. But we also have to try and figure out who killed out families."
My throat constricted at the end of the sentence and I let out a cough as to not cry. Alex kissed my forehead and proceeded to get up.
"Alrighty then, since everything is all fine, I'm going to need you-" he helped L get up and started pushing her to the door "to get out. We have some making up to do."
I felt my cheeks redden and he winked at me before opening the door pushing L out and closing it back up.
In one swift movement his shirt was off and he was in front of me grinning evily.
"A-alex no" I groaned and had to push him away from my neck.
We heard the door open and Alex let out a hiss.
"Hey I thought I said we needed to make up" He turned to the door and instantly tensed up.
"Youre kissing him after everything he said?" Jeff let out. He was clearly angry although his frozen smile does make it kind of hard to tell.
"Mind your fucking buisness prick." Alex hissed at Jeff. Jeff rolled his eyes and moved further into the room menacingly.
Alex let me go and walked over to Jeff they stood at the same height challenging the other to back down. Jeff shoved Alex back and Alex quickly recovered and took a swing at Jeff. I could practicly feel his fist colide with Jeff's jaw. I was stunned and was at loss for words before realizing words werent going to do anything. I rushed ahead and pulled Alex away from Jeff's wrath and stood in between them.
This 5'2 girl who is shy as hell and will apologize for anything is standing in between two tall as heck guys trying to prevent them from fighting. Yep average day in the life of Juliet.
"I really appreciate the concern but I love Alex. I will go to the ends of the world with him and for him." as I was saying this I realized everything I was saying was true. I think I would die for him. I cant imagine loosing him. Let alone giving him up for a bunch of random killers. I was raised with him. I've know him since I was in the womb.
Jeff's face turned into one of disgust. I cringed and realized maybe I shouldnt say these types of things to someone who hates people.
"He's not right for you Juliet. He's going to hurt you." Jeff pleaded for me to understand. He took hold of my hands and gently pulled me closer to him. Thats when it finally hit me.
Jeff the Killer likes me.
Alex snorted and yanked me away from him by my shoulder. I flinched and saw anger flash across Jeff's eyes. Alex pretended to wipe a tear from the corner of his eye and chuckled.
"So what youre good for her?" Alex broke into another laugh and pointed at him "You hear this guy? He thinks you could actually have feelings for him."
I frowned and pulled away from Alex. He was being really mean. He didnt need to make fun of Jeff. People's feelings shouldnt be taken lightly.
"What is wrong with you?" I asked Alex. He turned to look at me in shock. Im not sure if it was due to the question. Or the way I had asked it.
"What do you mean whats wrong with me. He's pathetic. He fell in love wih a girl who doesnt feel the same way. How ridiculous-"
"Last I recall so did you once upon a time." I spit out. I slapped my hand over my mouth and stared at Alex. Where did that even come from? Why would I say that to him? He was sending me death threats with his eyes as he walked closer to me, towering over me.
"And yet here we are. You begging me to take you. In more ways than one."He said darkly. He winked at me and glanced over at Jeff signaling that was the end of the conversation. I felt my cheeks burn hot and realized that the conversation wasnt the only thing that was over.
I took a deep breath and let out a sigh. After I seemed to calm myself down a bit, I brought my hands up to Alex's chest and shoved him away from me before I stormed out of the room.
What a complete Jackass.

Hey sorry guys. I know its been forever again but I was going through my break up. Still technically dying but I am getting back into my habits and I think that means Im healing. Anyways thank you guys for staying with me. I love all of you.
