~Alex's Point of View~

Julie grabbed my hand tightly and squeezed.

I looked down at her and her eyes were glossy with tears.

"Where are we?" She asked.

Her lower lip wobbled and her voice was choked with tears.

I tried so hard not to kiss her. She looks so adorable like that.

I pulled her closer and proceeded to walk forward.

The sky was a dark purplish color and ahead of us was just forest. The trees were stripped of their leaves but were so densely packed you couldnt see straight throught them. It would be difficult to get out.

I cringed a little and pulled out my pocket knife.

Yes i carry a pocket knife.

Can you really blame me?

Julie looked at me questionably.

I simply shrugged and kept walking forward.

We walked into the dark forest and Julie was grabbing on to my arm so tightly i think my blood circulation stopped.

We were walking in silence when i heard a different set of footsteps.

I froze and Juliet looked up at me terror shown clear in her eyes.

I looked around and couldnt see anything past the darkness and the trees.

"Alex lookout!" She screamed and pushed me.

I collided with a tree.

For a girl her size she has a surprising amount of strength.

I cringed and reached blindly in the darkness looking for her.

I was about to start walking when a small crack sound caught my attention. I looked around trying to find where it came from but couldnt see anything.

Something bad was going to happen. I could feel it in my gut.

I need to find Veronica right now.

"Juliet. where are you?" I called out

"Alex im over he-" Something cut her off and then i heard her high pitched scream.

I started to panic and then i heard foot steps running deeper into the woods. I instantly followed after i heard another scream where the footsteps were running to.

I kept tripping over rocks and fallen tree branches. My arms were being scratched and i felt a scrape right above my eyebrow and a little below my chin. But i had to keep following.

Juliet was being taken from me! I cant live with myself if i just let them.

I had to try.

Suddenly the running stopped and i heard a grunt.

Someone had fallen to the floor and i heard Juliet whimper in the distance. There was another grunt and some kind of hitting form was happening.

I ran forward and was able to see shadows up ahead. I saw two on the floor and the third person was on top of one of them hitting them. As i got closer the shadows were beginning to clear. Juliet was on the opposite side of the people on the floor. Jeff was on top of another person. It was a girl.

"GO TO SLEEP!" Jeff screamed he was about to stab the girl but the girl rolled them over and was on top now.

"DONT GO TO SLEEP. YOU WONT WAKE UP" She screamed.

The girl then stabbed a knife into Jeff's shoulder and he grunted in pain.

He flipped them over again and this time he sliced her arm.

She gasped slightly and pushed him off then got up.

"This isnt over" she hissed at him and then ran towards the woods.

"Are you okay?" Jeff asked Juliet while waking over to her.

"Y-y-yeah" she said so low i almost didnt hear her.

"Baby are you okay?" I asked walking over to her as well.

"Alex!" She immediately got up and hugged me tightly.

She cried softly into my chest and i hugged her closer.

I saw a flash of pain cross Jeff's eyes and i smirked.

He growled lightly and cracked his knuckles while shifting his knife a little.

"Slender mansion is back that way. Im going to go kill" he practically growled.

"Gotcha" i grinned.

He turned sharply and walked deeper into the woods.

I quickly lifted Julie up and she held on to to me tightly while i made my way back to the mansion.

When we got there Laughing jack opened the door for us and then started laughing.

"You guys wont make it a mile from here ahahaha" he held his stomach like if he was in pain and walked away.

I frowned and walked over to the couch and set her down.

She looked up at me and her lip wobbled again.

Okay she really does look so adorable when she looks like that.

Im pretty sure its bad that i like it when shes upset.

"Dont leave me please. Im scared." She whispered

"I wont. I promise" i picked her up again and walked up to the room we were staying in "im never going to leave you"

"Thank you" she sniffled.

I put her down on the bed and laid down next to her. She snuggled closer to me and put the covers on both of us. I put my arm on her waist and pulled her closer.Then she looked at me and pecked my cheek while putting her leg on me. She closed her eyes and sighed.

"I love you." I mumbled.

But i knew she was asleep already.

I sighed and closed my eyes.

Sleeping with her here will make it easier to sleep for me. I would know thats shes safe that way.

That i could protect her.

I have to.

I love her.
