that was the date of her birthday.
that was when she was supposed to be happy.
that was when i was supposed to be the reason of her happiness.
but did i even make her happy?
i did give her gifts but it wasn't enough.
she wanted me to celebrate with them but i didn't.
i met up with someone else and got home late.
who am i kidding?
of course, she got disappointed in me.
she felt sorrow, not happiness.
and i regret for being the reason of her sadness.

but i should just move on and forget about it, right?

"Oww," I groaned and rubbed my head as I hit the glass door in front of me. I heard the person with me laughing behind me and I turned around to glare at her.

"Unnie, are you alright?" Lisa asked in between laughs and I rolled my eyes and went inside the  cafe.

She stopped laughing and started to apologize continually as she trailed behind me. I giggled softly then just told her to find a table since I know what she usually wants. She did what I asked her to do and I went to the counter to order.

Later, we started eating and drinking our orders as we got them. We talked about random topics we can come up with. All of sudden, she lowered her voice when she looked behind me.

"Chaeyoung and Jennie-unnie have been really close recently," she said so I turned around to see them.

"You're right, I noticed," I sighed as I sipped my drink.

"Anyways, how is your relationship with unnie?"

"It's been 6 months, Lisa, we remained as friends and nothing more," I smiled at her.

"Really? Well, after AIIYL was released, you two began acting like a couple when Chaeyoung's with me," her eyes widened as she took a bite from the slice of cake she ordered, "I really thought you two were back together."

"Oh, come on, we broke up for a reason. We only acted like that because we didn't want the BLINKS to think that we fought," I rolled my eyes and drank the frappe I ordered.

"Oh right, your relationship is secret," Lisa snickered and she finished eating her cake.

Yes, she's right, we kept our relationship a secret. Not one single BLINK knew that we became a couple. Actually, even Yang Hyunsuk or YG himself never knew we were.

It was alright for us, since we didn't want to cause trouble just because of our romantic relationship. We managed to enjoy our time with each other. We became happy together, even though, it was hard for us to hide.

But, I told myself, that will never ever happen again.

Every couple will break up, whether we like it or not. The feelings of one person to the other won't last long. They will soon grow tired and eventually, they will end that relationship.

Breakups can hurt, but we must accept that we have to let the one, whom we loved the most, go.

also, i think it's impossible for me to make the chapters longer because it will defeat my plans for this book, sorry...
i only exceed up to 400-500 words per chapter and i thought of making the last chapter longer than the rest «
