Mikaela was disgusted with herself, her stomach felt a thousand knots had just twisted and weren't stopping any time soon. As Blake continued to tell her what happened at her party, how her and Elliot nearly...
Mikaela could only apoligise over and over again to Blake for what she did. Yet Blake wasn't the one hurting Mikaela by bringing it up. Mikaela was hurting herself. She knew this wasn't her, she knew this was not her life.
She had deserved every ounce of the pain she felt right now.
One difference between Mikaela and Rae was Mikaela actuallly feels genuine remorse. Rae on the hand felt in some sense the whole world was against her having fun. She was the perfect example of a rebellious daughter.
Mikaela felt with every twist in her stomach she was becoming Rae. She didn't want to believe it though, she refused to believe it.
As Blake's hand stretched out to touch Mikaela's shoulder. Mikaela's whole body jolted forward, as she covered her mouth instantly. She felt sick. Really really sick.
Blake didn't understand why Mikaela was acting how she was. Rae would never be like this after a night out. She wouldn't show pain that was felt by her internally.
"It's okay," Blake said, his soothing words touching Mikaela's ears. For a brief second she listened, she wished it was okay. But deep down she knew it wasn't.
Elliot was making everything worse for her, he was coming in between of her and Blake. Mikaela didn't want this. Mikaela looked up at Blake, his soft face, the sincerity in his eyes. He had forgiven her from the moment she had started feeling pain.
She refused to accept his forgivness of her wrong doing. She gave a crooked smile before turning away from him instantly. She walked a few meters before she came to a complete halt.
"I'm sorry," she told Blake. Not being able to look into his eyes. She hurried off away from Blake, not daring to look back at him. She was going to sort things out between her and Elliot, no she had to.
She took out Rae's phone from her pocket, clutching the phone with all her might. She looked through Rae's contact until she found Elliot's name.
She called him.
After the second ring he picked up, his voice sounding rough and croaky, he had developed a minor throat infection overnight.
"Can you meet me by Ritz now?" She asked him. As she was able to compose herself.
"Sure," he croaked. "I'm coming now," Elliot disregarded his throats urgency to rest and made his way towards Mikaela's meeting point. Mikaela knew fair and square that Elliot sounded ill yet she didn't allow that to change her mind of what she wanted to do at that very moment.
As Mikaela began walking towards the meeting place which was atleast a 2 minute walk from were she now was. She began to wonder what she would actually say to Elliot. Tell him to leave her alone? But would that blow her cover. Tell him to stop trying to get with her? But would that blow her cover.
Mikaela knew what she really wanted to do deep down. It was unlikely that she was actually going to do that though.
She waited for Elliot. Standing, looking in one focused direction as there was more of a chance him coming from that direction.
Just as she predicted Elliot came from that direction. He had definitely had bed hair. You could tell he didn't even look in the mirror as he left his house.
When Elliot finally drew near, Mikaela's whole confidence, all her words, her whole outlook on the situation was lost.
As Elliot stood inches from her, she felt she was the one causing things between Blake and her to go wrong. It wasn't Elliot's fault. He was manipulated by Rae for him to want her.
