We were all divided into two groups and both of the groups sat around a bonfire.
Tim and Johan were by my sides. My brother was grilling chicken whereas Tim was grilling some streaks. I, however, was grilling marshmallows and feeding them both when one of them was cool and golden brown.
Dany,a guy in our group, brought his guitar and we sang along to some old indie songs and laughed when we were confused with the lyrics. We chatted for a while until the food was ready.
I was chewing on a chicken wing when Tim sneaked a hotdog on my plate. He smiled softly as I realized that his plate was full of hotdogs.
"Where did you get that?" I asked happily, taking a bite.
"The teachers love me," he grinned, taking a bite of his own.
I really wanted some hotdogs but everyone was too fast so I couldn't grab a piece myself. Even though I was full, I complained about it to Tim and sure enough he went to the teachers.
"Thanks," I chuckled, grateful for his small gesture. Johan was already missing with the new girl so it was really two of us in the tent.
The teachers didn't bother since they thought my brother was with me. They didn't even know Johan betrayed me and left us two alone.
"What's that?" I asked when he pulled out something from his suitcase.
"Grape wine," he smiled, opening the bottle with a corkscrew, and grabbed two plastic cups that were being neatly stacked up in the corner.
He shoved one to me before pouring the dark liquid down the clear plastic. He poured it in his too before we did a cheer.
"It has been a while since I had so much fun," he said after a small sip. "The palace stressed me out like a prison."
"Why did you come here though?" I asked. "I mean study here."
"My homeschool teacher died," he smiled sadly. "He was like a second dad to me and I didn't want anyone replacing his position."
"I'm sorry."
"But I met you though," he grinned and flicked my forehead playfully. "You make me happy."
"I'm glad," I brushed, smiling softly. We stared at eachother for a while, both in our own worlds.
"Let's sleep."
"I agree."
Turning off the small lamp in our tent, we got into our sleeping bags leaving the one in the middlr behind which belonged to Johan.
I heard Tim's soft breathing from the other side, wishing badly that I could play with his hair and watch him fall sleep.
Maybe I liked him. Or maybe I was falling in love, I didn't know.

"Quinn," somebody pushed me gently awake.
I woke up to see Tim's face and a smile playing on his lips. It looked like dawn as I scanned my eyes around, adjusting to the dim light.
"Wanna watch sunrise?" He said excitedly, grabbing my hand and pulled me up gently.
I was too dazed to answer before he pulled me out of the tent and sat down on a piece of log as I did the same.
I turned to glance at the sun which was hidden in mask of clouds, its light tried to crack and shine through the earth as it rose slowly every second.
We were lucky that the surrounding trees were short enough to not cover the view.
I broke into a grin, content I started my morning seeing something so beautiful. "It's so amazing," I commented.
At the corner of my eyes, I saw Tim nodded.
Not for so long, we found Johan sneaking out of a tent. His hair was messy and he looked sleepy. He walked to us in his pajamas with a small smirk.
"Had fun last night?" He suggestively asked, coming to sit next to Tim. "I guess you did since you're watching the sunrise and all."
"We even had wine," Tim said amusingly as the two of them shared meaningful glances at eachother.
"Shut up,Johan. We didn't do anything," my cheeks felt hot as I glared at them both.
"Alright," he surrendered, eyes gazing at the view. "I won't tell dad."
"Johan!"

When we had freshen up and got back into the bus, Tim and I sat together at the back with Johan by Tim's sidd.
Half way to our home, I felt sleepy and Tim generously offered his shoulder in which I gladly took.
Johan reported to me that Tim kissed me but I just slapped him hard in the back and warned him not to lie about such things again.
Tim insisted to visit our house though, hopping off the bus with us and attracting a whole lot of attention.
We ushered him in quickly. As dad wasn't home, we decided to play truth and dare. I knew it was a bad idea with Johan around ,but Tim agreed with ease.
"I dare you to kiss her," Johan said cheekily.
It came as no surprise as Tim and I looked at him awkwardly so he decided to change.
"I dare you to hug her."
Without preparing, Tim wrapped his arms around my waist and let go when Johan snickered. He looked so satisfied that I wanted to punch him in the face.
"Truth or dare," Tim said to me.
"Uh," I struggled. "Dare!"
"I dare you to take an ugly selfie of yourself," he chuckled happily.
I glared at him and pulled out my phone. I didn't know what to do so I just settled with a grumpy face.
We continued for another round then started playing hide and seek all of a sudden.
Johan volunteered to find us so Tim and I decided to hide together under the bar.
"This is so stupid," I whispered to Tim.
He was facing me as we huddled together quietly. Tim grinned showing his pearly white teeth when we heard footsteps entering the kitchen.
I swallowed as we met eachother's eyes and smiled.
"Just this one," he suddenly said, turning serious as he leaned in to kiss me.
