~A Few Months After You Planned Your Mission On Helping Kenny~

Reader's P.O.V 

It's been a few months since I started to work at the 'Giggling Donkey' and I was almost there! I earn up to $170 per day and for an extra shift I receive $25 more, it really does pay well but I honestly don't like it, the men all flirt with me and keep trying to touch my body but I wouldn't give them an satisfaction. I know how to defend myself, I've been learning Tae-Kwon-Do and Karate ever since I was 5, now I am an advanced black belt in both fighting styles. My Dad's friend who's the boss of this place is a really nice man and looks after me as if I was his own child for he didn't have any kids, sometimes I wonder how such a wonderful bloke like him was ever met with a fate like that.

I have a total of $79,050, along with my parents' $50,000 of course, and all I need now is $950 more, I can achieve that much money by the end of the month which is only 2 weeks away, I can also manage to make a total of $1430 spare money which can help the McCormicks get started! This is going to blow Kenny's mind, I just want him to be happy, like he made me happy after I got bullied because of being the richest girl in school, I don't know where my fighting skills went at the time but I was glad Kenny was there to protect me and not only that but he rescued me from my morning over the death of my deceased grandmother-may her soul reach the heavens- by making me fall in love with him. He had all the qualities I wanted in a guy, kind, slightly mysterious, protective over his loved ones, serious at times but can be perverted in a jokey way. I loved him so much that that was all I needed to keep myself looking on the bright side of things and do this for him. I want to do this for him and his whole family, I'm not giving up.

" Sweat-pea!" I heard my dad call as I finished up on preparing for an extra night shift at the bar, examining myself in the mirror. 

" Yes dad?" 

" We need to go now or else you'll be late! I'll drive you over to the bar on my way to the office to discuss terms of business with my boss and pick you up after alright?!" he shouted through the house.

" Alright! I'll be there in a sec!" I replied my voice loud enough for him to hear. Having one last look in the mirror, I ventured to my mother's study and knocked on the polished oak door.

" Come in." I heard her mumble at the other end of the door as I proceeded to do as requested, careful not to shock her.

" I'm going now mum, have a good night." I said as she ran her hands through her hair, drinking the coffee I brought in moments ago to help her relax from the stress of her job. 

" You have a good night too dear and please do take care of yourself while you're at the bar, you never know who's going to walk through the door at this hour. " she advised, turning to face me in her spinning chair.

" Don't worry mum, thanks for worrying." I thanked as she smiled weakly, she hadn't had enough sleep lately, you could clearly see it etched on her face. Bags beneath her blood-shot eyes, tousled hair, droopy eye lids and tacky clothing, not the exact quality you would have seen her in the normal days because she always wears an outfit to strut in when your on a catwalk.

" Anything for you dear, now off you go you don't want to keep you boss or Kenny waiting do you?" she teased winking at me, even in her tired state she had the right frame of mind to stay positive and that's why she is such a fun mother. I blushed darkly and gave her a playful look as she laughed, it was like twinkling bells light and cheerful, brightening up any atmosphere. 

" Bye mum." 

" Bye dear, take care." 

" I will!" I walked back down the big stair case and met my dad. 

" Are you ready?" 

" Yep! Lets go!"
