Reader's P.O.V

I knew it...he hates my guts and for that he ditched me...

I let the rain pour on me soaking my small physique even further than it already was, I felt my (f/c) dress cling on to my shivering body causing me to shake vigorously as the wind brushed past me, making my blood run cold, although that endless chill didn't compare to the pain my heart break brought to me. How could I let this happen? All I wanted to do was help Kenny and now he really hates me... I know I could have took shelter under the porch of his soon to be new house but I couldn't bring myself to do it and now I can't do anything but stand in the rain, knowing that I'll catch a cold if I did but I didn't care. I felt an emptiness in my chest, as if my heart was no longer beating, I mean, how could it without him? My angel sent from heaven to protect me from harms' way. I clenched my hand, feeling the ice cold key to the house press against my skin causing it to throb at the amount of strength I used on its grip.

" (Y/N)..." I heard a whisper through the rain surrounding me, it sounded a lot like Kenny's voice whenever he took his hood off to reveal his marvelously sculpted yet childlike face and glossy, tousled blonde hair. He seemed like a god before you if you ever did see his shining face and his smooth voice just added to the effect he gave off when he revealed his real face. Ignoring the voice, I stayed where I was, gazing off into space with half lidded eyes thinking of how miserable my life felt right now.

" I am so sorry..." at that I mustered all my strength and faced the direction of the voice to find Kenny with his hood down, letting the rain drench his golden hair.

" K-Kenny..." he darted towards me coming to a complete halt before my quivering form. I took his hand in mine, turned it over and placed the key into it's cupped shape, closing his hand after. Smiling weakly, I looked up at him breathing in deeply and readied myself to say what I was about to. I wasn't mad at him but at myself for letting things come to this so I have to set things right, " H-here is for e-everything you did for m-m-me. Thank you so much K-Kenny..." I thanked shakily from the cold and falling into his arms as I also fell into complete darkness.

Kenny's P.O.V

She fell into my arms as I stood in shock at what she offered me-the keys to the house she stood in front off waiting for me for 3 hours. She was trembling out of the cold and I needed to get her somewhere dry, quickly! I faced the house and pulled a determined face, I have to get her into that house before we both get too wet. Bending over with her still in my arms, I knelled on one knee, dipping her body in my right arm as I toke my Parka from my left side off, I gently transferring her frame to my left arm and took the rest of my Parka off on my right side. I wrapped it around her carefully and zipped it up so that her body wouldn't face the howling wind. Still in my current position,- kneeling down with her wrapped up body in my arms- I slid my left arm beneath her knees and lifted her up, holding her closer to my sweater covered chest as my hand gripped onto the keys tightly. I walked over to the porch, finally getting out of the rain cut not the wind, yet. Wondering how I was ever going to open the door, my eyes came across a letter slid half way through the mail slot of its polished surface and mentally noted to check it out after I took care of (Y/N). Finally knowing what to do, I knelled down again, resting (Y/N)'s upper body on my thigh as her lower half lay on the wooden floor , I took the key and hurriedly turned it, pushing it open after hearing a faint click.

I ventured into the house after scooping (Y/N) up in me arms again and walked into the living room where I splayed her out on the couch. I removed my Parka delicately to see her clothes still dripping wet, if I don't get her into any drier clothes she'll be sure to catch a cold but I'm sure there aren't any in here, maybe I should...

After amounts of mentally arguing with myself for changing her, I eventually get her into warmer clothes and sighed in relief, knowing that she wouldn't be as likely to catch anything now. I draped my Parka over her peacefully sleeping figure and walked to the door, retrieving the envelope lodged in the mail slot. Walking back to the the room I left (Y/N) at, I read the letter that was kept inside the white envelope with my left hand rammed into my jean pocket.

Dear Kenny, my angel,

I know it sounds cheese-y but you truly are one. You were always there when I needed help or support and I was very thankful. First of all I'm sorry I didn't hang out with you, I was just too busy with working shifts at the Giggling Donkey to get the money I needed to for the house I just couldn't make the time and for me constantly avoiding you, I just didn't want you to get suspicious at my changing appearance because I work night shifts as well and I always end up exhausted after work. Anyway, my mum and dad helped pay for the house and I made the money to fully furnish it for you, I also earned $1430 extra for you to have so that you can easily settle in. I just want you to know that I did this for angels such as yourself, I just couldn't bare seeing you live in such places, you and your family are such sweet people I felt blessed that I ever had the luck to meet you.

I love you forever and always...

Lots of Love from,

(Y/N)
