Kenny x Reader - My Angel

A Girlfriend?

Welcome! Here is another chapter just for you, I hope you are all enjoying this story so far and are just as excited about the next chapter as I am! Reader's P.O.V 

I haven't seen Kenny for a while now and I'm starting to get worried but I was thankful for that in a way because it helped me cover up the fact that I'm working for his sake. I only have to work 1 more shift before I can afford to have the house fully furnished. My mum and dad already paid for it so we own it already and all I have to do to finish the job is to fill it with furniture, which I already sorted out with my mum's friends who furnish houses for a living. I talked to them in terms of design and styles of furniture and together we came up with the perfect design. I'm almost there!

It was lunch time in South Park High and I just paid for my amazing lunch made by the ultra famous Chef! 

" Thanks for the lunch Chef." I thanked, smiling sweetly at him. 

" You're welcome (Y/N)...oh hello Clyde what would you want today?..." 

I walked to the table with Stan, Kyle and Cartman which was quite odd since Kenny wasn't there. 

" Hey guys!" I greeted as I sat down in front of them, pulling a smile to cover the exhaustion from last nights' shift. It was crazy in there due to one of them having a birthday, which resulted in twice as much chaos. 

" Hey (Y/N)!" they replied and suddenly looked over to their right with interested faces. 'How odd... I wonder what their looking at?'. Gazing at the same direction they were facing, I gasping at the scene that was playing before me. Kenny was eating with a girl! She had long, streaked brown hair and wears mascara; a red t-shirt that was too fitting on her chest, it pulled up to show her belly button she also wore short, blue denim shorts that squeezes her butt; a golden heart necklace with a pink and purple bracelet and blue shoes with light blue stripped socks. She looked a bit too... um revealing to me. 

" Wow... Kenny really and finally..." Cartman began. 'No! Their not saying what I think their saying, are they?', my heart sank as my stomach caved in.

"... got a girlfriend..." 'What?! NO!' 

" Nice..." they whispered simultaneously and continued eating their lunch as I looked longingly at the new couple. 'I guess...I was too late to capture his heart...well, he seems happy and when he's happy I'm happy...but why didn't he tell me he had a girlfriend? Maybe I should ask him later...'. I sighed at my thoughts and ate my lunch, hoping to see Kenny after and ask why he didn't tell me. 

" I lost my appetite... here Cartman you can have my lunch." I shoved my tray before him, stood up and walked outside and venturing to the place I let out all my sorrow. Sitting underneath the tree Kenny and I always hung out at, I thought of what fate gave me for working and avoiding Kenny. 

' I can't believe that this is happening...' I closed my eyes, letting the wind fan my face, pushing back the stands of hair that fell out of place. Letting a tear escape my closed eye lids, I suddenly felt a soft warmth brush it away making me snap my eyes open. Kenny! He was crouching in front of me and slowly stood up, placing his gloved hands in his pocket.

" K-Kenny..." I stuttered as he nodded, staring at me with emotionless eyes. Standing up, I wiped my eyes to rid the up coming tears and faced him with a weak, fake smile, "...so you have a girlfriend now?" I asked, afraid of the answer. He nodded as silent as ever. Choking on air, I blinked away the tears that welled up and continued as my heart sank into an endless abyss, the knot in my stomach beginning to ache " w-why didn't you tell me about this?..." he looked mad and about to burst out of anger due to the visible fire in his eyes and his fuming red face. 

" Like you care!" he cried as I winced at his volume, " You didn't tell me you were seeing someone! Always leaving me when I wanted to hang out with you! Where were you? Nowhere?! You always ditched me and I didn't know what to do! So I got a girlfriend!" I opened my mouth to protest at his assumption of me having a boyfriend but nothing came out as I continued to choke, " I am sick of you and your attitude towards me these past few months! Ever since I meet Tammy I forgot about you! Why have been avoiding me? Why are we not spending time together like we did after someone jumped into your life! Well something changed when Tammy came into mine and I would like you to know that I am very happy with her and would rather hang out with her than you!" He walked away after that as I ran out of school, going straight home, tears blurring my vision. I didn't care that I might get grounded but my parents are away for 3 weeks and the school won't be able to reach them since they'll be too busy. I rushed into my room after unlocking the door and collapsed in my bed, crying myself to sleep.

The atmosphere finally grew silent around me as my recent weeping turned into sniffling and I thought of what to do. I can't back out on what I planned with mum and dad seeing that we're already far into it and I can't face Kenny, also I have to stay at school or else my punishment for skipping would be just as horrible as what Kenny said to me... I have to get ready for my shift now and get the last of the money I need to help my angel, an angel that hates my guts and it's all because of a misunderstanding.
