I entered the tall building and went to the front desk, where a woman was sitting.
"Hello, Lillie how are you today?" Sarah asked. Sarah was the desk manager for writer's block she was a woman with blonde hair and a kind personality.
"I'm good Sarah." I told her,
"That's nice" she said, I walked past the front desk to the elevator and touched my ID tag against the scanner, the elevator doors opened and a man walked out, I stepped inside just before the doors closed. I pushed the button for the sixth floor which is the second highest floor, which is the newsletters and publishing department, the highest floor is were Maryanne's office is held, she's the boss and up with her office is where the meeting room is.

I walked straight over to my cubicle, as soon as I entered I heard a loud squeal from the seat in front of the desk across the room, my best friend, Alex turned around in his chair, Alex is a male with green eyes, ginger hair and is very feminine. "So who's the guy?" Alex asked,
"What guy, who said there was a guy?" I asked in stressed voice,
"Well your late and your sweaty" he said in a silly voice,
"Sure,what ever you want to think" I said in a angry voice,
"Oh, and Maryanne wants to talk to you in her office about the book" he told me.
I sat down in my seat and started to log in to my desktop when Alex came and spun my chair around and looked at me confused.
"You want your book published, don't you?" Alex asked,
"Yes, but I don't know if I'll get the meeting with the board. And even if I do, what if they don't like it and therefore not want to publish it?" I asked with anger,
"Well you'll never know until you try, and I bet Maryanne will love it and if she does the board surely will" Alex told me.
"Thanks Alex i really needed that, I'll go up now" I told him.

I then left my cubicle, went past the other cubicles and I then started to climb the stairs, for every hatred step I took the more frightened I got. I got to the seventh floor with ease, I went past the massive glass box known as the meeting room and entered maryanne's office. Maryanne's office was this massive room with a tiny desk, with several TVs playing different news channels on silent with a tiny black haired woman sitting in the seat behind the desk.
"hello Maryanne, how are you?" I asked in a scared voice,
"Cut it!, I don't need that introduction schinenigan" she told me,
"Alex told me, you wanted to see me about my book, is that correct?" I asked
"Yes that is correct, this may come a shock to you but both the board and I agreed that the storyline was needing some work" she said,
"Do you think I'll be able to have the interview with board?" I asked
"Other than this default, the board liked it" she told me,
"So" I asked in a scared voice,
"Congratulations Lillie you got the meeting" she told me,
"Thank you I will not waste this opportunity, I sware I will not" I told her,
"You better not, I want you to work on both the meeting and the book right away" she told me,
"They will come tomorrow to have the meeting with you" she said.

So I left Maryanne's office and walked down the stairs to my cubicle, as soon as I did Alex spun around in his chair and asked in a high pitch voice "so, what she say"
"Well she told me that I got the meeting with the board" i told him
just before He cut in and said "that's great",
"But apparently they thought the storyline needed some work" I said sadly,
"Hey, at least you got the interview" Alex said,
He then spun around to his desktop and started doing some more work.
I walked over to my desk and saw that I was half logged in already, so I. Sat in my massive chair and started working on my book and speech. I worked for hours until I got a call from the main desk.
