I once believed in fairy tales, and that there's always light in the darkness and most of all I believed in happily ever afters but not anymore.
Ding! Ding! Was the first painful thing I heard when I woke from my unconscious like sleep, I felt as though I could sleep for a thousand more years but I had to get up. Ding! Ding! I heard again so I rolled over on my side and I hit my hand against the alarm-clock so the pain would stop, which it did, I than got out from under my sheets and walked into the small, dark room that was tiled with dirty blue tiles, that was known as my bathroom, as I soon as I got into the room I went straight into the shower, I had a long, warm shower which woke me up. I turned off the shower, got out and grabbed a towel which I wrapped around myself, I walked up to the mirror, brushed my teeth, brushed my hair and while doing so I thought to myself you're a strong, intelligent woman that is going to get
your book published.I looked in the mirror and only saw an ordinary, brown haired girl with hazel eyes.
I then walked into my bedroom in this small apartment I call home, I opened my wardrobe and pulled out my work clothes, which were a navy blue shirt, a pair of grey jeans and an ID badge attached to a lanyard which held writer's block: Lillie Sarehs: newsletters and publishing department. I got dressed and grabbed my things for work which were a purple pencil case filled with pens and pencils, two note pads, my phone, my apartment keys and my red wallet, I then went out of my apartment and locked the door I then went down five flights of stairs and down the street.which was colourful when it came to shops, there was a barber, a bakery, a butcher, a supermarket, a pawnbroker, a kebab shop and a library. I ran down to the crossing which was across from a cafe named Maxi's, I saw the bus about to stop in front of the bus stop, so I ran across the street and I was about to get on the bus, but then an amazing thing happened, I ran straight into a man and we both fell to the ground, "I'm sorry, I need to go" I told him in a rushed voice. I quickly got up and ran for the bus 350. I got on the bus and as soon as I did the doors shut behind me. I walked down the isle and sat on a seat that was empty.
The bus started up again and while it did the man started shouting and waving at the bus, It started driving down the street and the man ran side by side with the bus, he stopped when he got to the next bus stop. The bus stopped for him, then he got on and the doors closed behind him, he walked down the isle and sat right next to me. "That's an interesting way of meeting someone now isn't it." He said in a smart voice,
"yes" I replied.
"My name's Andrew what's your's" he asked,
"my name's Lillie" I told him with a smile,
"so we're are you getting off"he asked In a curious voice.
"I would tell you but I don't think I should tell such information to a stranger" I told him.
"Me, a stranger? No" he said sarcastically,
"I want to talk some more but I have to get off here" he told me.
So he stood up dramatically and walked down the isle, he jumped off the bus and waved at the window, i felt a warm, tingly feeling as though I was being shocked by a thousand shocks of lightning. The bus traveled down many more streets and made many more stops, it finally stopped outside a shopping centre, I got up from my seat and walked down the isle I then stepped out of the bus, walked down some streets until I got to a building with a sign that held the words writer's block.
