"Sleep well?" he asked me as he wrapped an arm around my waist.
"Yeah, you?"
"Just fine, saw you in my dreams," he whispered as he pulled me close to him.
"You're so sweet," I said leaning into his muscular chest. I wrapped my arms around him tightly and heard someone clear their throat behind me.
"No public signs of affection, Miss Dessen and Mr. Weasley," I heard Snape's voice say from behind me.
"Yes, sir," I said pulling away from George. I rolled my eyes and went to eat my breakfast. I could tell that George finished quickly because he came over to talk to me.
"So, what're you getting me for my birthday?" he asked me with a devilish grin.
"Oh God. What did Elise tell you?" I asked, horrified at the thought.
"Nothing, nothing. I'm just curious and well... you know I hate surprises."
"You'll have to deal with this one. Elise is the only one who-"
Then I was inturupted by the most horrible sound.
"ANNABELLE! ANNABELLE, DO YOU SEE ME? ANNABELLE! HI ANNABELLE!" I heard from across the room. I covered my face, hoping she was mistaking someone else for me, "WHY ARE YOU COVERING YOUR FACE ANNABELLE!? ANNABELLE!"
"Oh God why?" I asked, looking up at the ceiling.
"Is that... your sister!?" Elise asked, looking shocked.
I nodded, unabled to say anything. George looked down at my face, "It'll be okay."
"No, it won't, she'll ruin everything... maybe even your birthday present." I said with a smirk.
"Hello, Annabelle," I heard Katie say. Realizing that she was right next to me I turned my head slowly.
"Go away," I said slowly and menacingly.
"No," she stated bluntly.
"Go away, please," I said, rolling my eyes.
"Why should I?" she asked in a nasaly voice. I turned to look at George and he was grinning to himself.
"Because I said please," I said smiling hopefully. After looking at me for a while she opened her mouth.
"Who's that?" she asked, pointing to George. My gut told me to scream, but my mouth has more controll.
"Drop it!" I snapped. She looked quite shocked then she walked away. I groaned and layed my head down on the table, "No."
I felt George stroking my hair and I looked up at him, "Don't freak out. You'll be fine," he whispered, getting closer and closer.
"No, I won't! She's a pest, she'll ruin everything!" I said laying back down.
"Come on, we'll go somewhere alone, okay?" he suggested. I nodded and took his hand, following him through the halls and out the door. We ran out to the lake and sat down on the dock, "Now," he began, "What are you getting me for my birthday?"
"I told you, it's a surprise," I said smiling evily.
"But I hate surprises!" he whined playfully.
"No, I'm not telling you and that's final!" I said, immatating Miss Agatha... although he didn't understand.
"Fine," he said leaning in for a kiss. I leaned back, getting farther and farther away from him until I was laying on my back in the sand. He leaned over me and chuckled quietly. I put my hands on his shoulders and pulled him closer. He leaned in until he was just inches from my lips. I sighed, frusterated that I couldn't pull him down any further. He laughed, amused with my frusteration.
