"Okay, bye mommy." Jeremy said as he was heading off to kindergarten. "I'll miss you!" He giggled.
"Of course darling, remember to make friends." Jeremy's mother smiled.

"Bye-bye!" Micheal waved eagerly, ready to go somewhere his parents weren't."Bye!" His parents were already fading from view.
_______________In the kindergarten, kids were laughing, crying, playing, and waiting for the teacher to start class. Jeremy headed inside his classroom, it was pretty blank, but something told him it would be filled with drawings eventually.
Micheal creaked open the door, sadly, there were many messy kids. "Okay.." he mumbled to himself. He then went to lie down in a small quiet corner. Picking at his red shirt every few seconds.
"Y-you okay?" He heard another voice stutter.
"Yeah.. just lonely." Micheal responded nonchalantly.
He adjusted his glasses to see a nervous little boy waving. "M-my name's J-Jeremy! What's yours?" Jeremy sat down, legs crossed.
Michael sat up as well, "Micheal.. and when is the teacher coming?"
"I dunno.." Jeremy fumbled with his thumbs. Micheal thought he looked cute.
Micheal kissed Jeremy in the forehead, leaving the other boy stunned. "Sorry, just something I saw my momma do."
"No it's fine! I like it!" Jeremy blushed.
"Friends?" He asked Michael."Friends." Replied the kindergartner.
----Time Squip to After School---
Micheal had kissed Jeremy on the forehead before Jeremy left to his mother. As he got in the car, his mother was radiating bad vibes.
"Why did that black boy kiss you?"
"What's kiss?"
"Where someone puts their lips, on your body. Why was he doing that?"
"'Cause we're friends!"
"Friends don't kiss each other, okay!?"
"Okay.." Jeremy mumbled, watching the scenery.

"How's my boy?"
"I kissed Jeremy!"
"Who's Jeremy?"
"My new friend!"
"Is he your boy friend?"
"What's that?"
"When you love a boy very very much and gives him kisses and hugs, and other things to show that you love him. Sometimes you do fight though."
"Like you and Mom?"
"Yeah, like me and mom!" Micheal's second mother replied warmly. Hugging him. "You two boys will be just like us!"
Micheal's eyes grew wider, "we'll be in love?"
"Of course!"
"Yay!!" Micheal jumped up and down.
-------Time Squip to 2 years later-----
"I'm not having a gay son, Harold!" Jeremy's mother screamed at his dad.
"It's fine! You don't have to leave!"
"I said I would, and I am. I love you, I really do, but I'm not keeping a queer in my house." She quieted her tone and walked outside to the U-Haul truck in the driveway, the one that took Jeremy's mommy away.
"D-Daddy? Are you m-mad at me?" Jeremy, a second grader asked.
Mr. Heere smiled at him sadly, "No.. I'm not. Go eat some cereal for dinner, will ya?"
"O-okay..." Jeremy would have been happy about this if his mother hadn't been telling insults at him.
-----School 2nd Grade-------
"She's gone now.." Jeremy hugged Micheal tightly.
Micheal, in his red hoodie, had his eyes closed and didn't move. It felt like Jeremy's mom had insulted his mom's as well. "It'll get better.. you have me!" Micheal tried to say positively.
"Yeah.. I have you." Jeremy kissed Micheal on the cheek before running to his classroom.
Micheal smiled, and ran off to his as well.
