She lay still as the thoughts rushed through her. Her head buried in a hole of self pity. As a tear slowly rolled down the curves of her young face, the presence of other was now about. She went to look but she hesitated and in that time a young man approached and took her into his embrace. She need not look she knew immediately who it was by the strong scent of his aftershave which indulged her senses as she turned into the crook of his neck. As his comforting voice soothed her the tears slowly came to a halt. She looked up to the face of the person who had given hours of time to stop her sadness, it was apparent that he had shared her tears. They slowly unravelled from each other's embrace and took a moment to just stare into each other's eyes until the silence was broken by the loud screams of a young child. Both turned to the direction of the noise and immediately dashed towards it, the child was being taken. The child that belonged to them. The child they loved. The child they cherished. The child that they may never see again. They ran after the dark figure in which the child was in the grasp of, they ran like there was no tomorrow. But it was too late their baby was gone. Taken when it was least expected. Taken at the time when nothing could be worse.

Two years later....

They never stopped searching until now, today is the anniversary of the day she was taken. The memory of that day plays over in their heads, as they long to hold her again. They long to hear her sweet voice. They long to love her again and to never let her go again. Today was the day that the hope was lost, she knew now that she would never see her again. The little hope that fuelled their search for two years has now ran out. With nothing left each other she gave up.

Something seems different I don't feel at home I haven't for a long time, it's as though everything has changed. I don't remember anything anymore, no memory of what's happened in my life. I don't expect to remember everything I'm only nine but all of the children my age reminisce about how they played in puddles when they were younger and I remember nothing of the sort. I can't make any memories either, i have no friends and it feels like no one who loves me. Sometimes I question how I got here my parents don't love me, they never have and probably never will. I wish I could remember something. All I know is that I don't belong here.

"We can't give upnow, not after two years!" He said with such a desperate tone. His voice was wasted for he had been completely ignored by the once happy woman, his wife. "No matter how hard we look she isn't coming back," she said angrily, there was a short paused, "she's probably forgotten abouts us anyway, she's probably living happily with someone else she now calls mum. We got no chance of finding her now." She said softly and sadly.
"We haven't spent the past two years searching to just give up now, whether you help me or not I'm finding my daughter no matter what it takes, she was taken by some sick human being and I'm not gonna let her live her life without us in it. We bought her into this world, we have the right to watch her grow. Now are you going to help me or just sit there!" The urgency and angry was apparent in his voice as he spoke but it came with the hint of sympathy and sadness. "You're right I'm sorry, i should have never of given up. It's just I can't find hope to reassure me that we will find her."
"You've got me, let me be you're hope and we will find her I promise."
