Robin opened his eyes to the dull light coming in from the window as a loud buzz filled his ears, his unkempt blonde hair sticking up at odd angles.
"Ugh...Shut up." Robin grunted. He slowly sat up as the buzzing from his alarm got louder and louder.
"Alarm off." Robin mumbled as he yawned and climbed out of bed. The dreadful buzz finally ceased.
It had been two weeks since Drust had been destroyed and Caderyn had begun to complete his end of the bargain. Robin didn't pay much attention to politics but he had heard someone saying that there had been a major leadership change and animosity was starting to grow between the US and the UK. Robin got dressed and trudged downstairs still half asleep. The base's destruction had been blamed on the pile of bones that had a massive energy signature coming off them. Of course, the police took credit for the death of the supposed perpetrator. Robin wolfed down his breakfast. Training with Caderyn definitely builds an appetite. He kissed his mum on the cheek and rushed out of the door.
He saw the bus trundle down the street and smirked as he lifted himself into the air with his powers and flew off towards school.
