This happened to me about a year ago in a different house than my first encounter. My mom had just gotten home from some sort of inspirational seminar. She told me that the speaker had previously been in the hospital because another person had attacked them. I asked for more information but, knowing how badly I handle these sort of things, she wouldn't tell me. We both dropped the subject and, since it was late, went to bed.
That night I had a.......disturbing dream. I was watching t.v. on my couch in the dark. Already, I started to feel on edge since, as established in the first story, I'm afraid of the dark. The only light came from the screen of the t.v. and it didn't seem like anyone else was home.
There's this spot in my house where there's this little hall between the living room and the garage that we use as a laundry room. There is a door at each end, one opens to the garage, one opens to the living room. The door to the garage is the only one that locks. We keep that door locked at night.
I heard a creak and turned to see the door to the laundry room open slightly. In the small gap the door made I could see a man in a white mask. He was looking right at me. When I met his gaze the door opened a little more. Before anything else could happen I woke up scared half to death.
When I told my mom about the dream in the morning she stopped and looked at me. When I asked her what was the matter she told me that what had happened in my dream was almost exactly like what had happened to the guy. I felt a chill run down my spine, those two things couldn't have been a coincidence. I don't like walking by that door at night anymore.
