Chapter 1: I Get A Present On My Sisters Birthday

"Lily. Lily Ellery Evans! Wake up sleepy head! It's your sisters birthday," my Mum called from downstairs as I woke up to my windows open and sunlight pouring onto my face. I groaned as I looked at my clock on my bedside table. It was 7:30am and we'll, I'm not a morning person. I leaned back in my bed and stretched my arms and neck. With a sigh I got up and went to my closet. I picked out a dress that had small blue and red flowers decorated on it. I put on a matching blue belt and some light blue ballet flats.

Then I went into the hallway and into the bathroom. I brushed my hair and I looked at myself in the mirror. My curly dark red hair fell to my mid back framing my light face. I looked at my bright loving green eyes that everyone seems to get lost in. I smiled showing my bright and friendly grin. And laughed my cheerfull contagious laugh that everyone who hears it has no choice but to laugh too.

I bounded down the stairs to the kitchen. I peered in and saw that my sister Petunia Grace Evans sitting in the chair nearest with her back to me. I did a silent cheer in my head. I tiptoed over to her covering her eyes with my hands and I said " Happy birthday. Guess who?"

"Hmm let me think. Both my Mum and Dad are already here, I have none coming over today, and I only have one younger sibling." She said with a look of mock thinking on her face. "Let me guess, and this is probably a long shot, but could it be Lily."

"Yay! It took you long enough, my hands were getting tired." I said with a smirk on my face while my sister stared at me with fake hurt."Come on Tunney you can't stay mad at me, I'm adorable" I said. She just giggled and started eating her chocolate chip pancakes with strawberries. Tunneys favorite. And also mine. Once we were done eating my Mum came over.

"So what are you going to do today girls." She said.

"I think Lils and I are going to go to the park across the street." Petunia said. Then she looked over at me waiting for my reply.

"Fine by me" I said.

"Have fun girls and stick together. Also be back by lunch. I love you" Mum called as we were heading outside.

"Love you too Mum. Bye Dad." We said simultaneously while sticking our heads though the door way and blowing kisses at are parents. We walked across the street and headed to the park. It wasn't a park with a playground. It was more meadows, fields, trees, and flowers. We ran over to our favorite Maple tree. It had a twisted trunk and a swing hanging from a high branch. It was hollowed out, perfect for when we used to play hide and seek. The maple overlooked a lake which was shining from the sunlight. Petunia sat on the swing and I finally got a good look at her. She was wearing a grayish pink dress that ended at her knees with matching bubblegum pink convers. Her strait brown hair was pulled into a half ponytailand her bright brown eyes shown brightly.

"Will you push me?" She asked.

"Yes, but only because it's your birthday. Besides I'm the younger one." I replied.

"I'm only two years older then you. Anyway anything knew lately Lils?" Tunney said.

"WelI Idid have this cool dream last night. We both were up here by the swing and I closed my hand into a fist like this." I said and Tunney hopped of the swing so she could look at me. "And then I thought of a seven petaled blue rose and I opend up my hand and appeared." I said as I opend up my hand and Tunny gasped.

"No way," Tunny said and I looked at my hand and I gasped too. In my hand was a blue seven petaled rose. "That's awesome. Okay now try it with a yellow lily with 16 petals." Petunia said with a smile plastered on her face.

"Okay" I said and did the same thing. I closed my hand, thought of the flower, opend it, and there it was. "This is so cool. Wait how many petals are there?

"Sixteen. I just counted." She answered.

"You try it now Tunney. Make it a pink petunia with seven petals." I said. Tunney nodded in return. She closed her fist and opend it but nothing was there. "Weird" I said.

I looked up and saw sadness on her face. She looked like she was on the verge of tears. She smacked the flower out of hand and shouted "freak". Then she looked at something over my shoulder and her face changed from sad and mad to looking shocked. Out of curiosity I looked too and what was there surprised me.

Coming out of the hole in the maple tree stood a boy about my age. He had silly smooth wavy black hair and dark meaningfull eyes. He had on jeans that looked a little to big on him, black sneakers, a light blue blouse, and a dark suit jacket. The one thing that I could think about before Tunney ran away was the word stalker.
