i: what kind of relationship did you have with jihoon?
lkl: we were close for sure. he helped me a lot with learning korean and he was always there for me. we never fought, and he was kind with whatever he did. i was shocked and immediately saddened when i was informed of his death.
i: what were you doing on the night of the murder?
lkl: we had all gotten back from practice, and we were all exhausted of course. that night, i made a turkey sandwich before showering and brushing my teeth. oh, and jihoon didn't sleep in our room that night, since he was studying, so i went out and helped him study a bit before i slept. i hugged him before going back in my room, and i think that's where the hair sample might've gotten caught up at.
i: suspect park woojin says at the time of the murder, you were absent from the room.
lkl: that's simply not true. at 5:47 am, we all heard the scream and ran to the living room. however, i was still in the room and the door was closed. i can't say i remember seeing anyone else before running out. it was all too shocking. i don't know why woojin would frame me, we're not too close but we're certainly not enemies. actually, him and jihoon have had a bad relationship recently. after woojin passed him in class ranks, jihoon began studying like a mad man. i missed seeing normal jihoon, but woojin was totally cocky about being top of the class. he would call jihoon stupid, dumb, and other names for no reason at all. woojin is smart. really smart. but don't trust a word he says, because he always has some kind of mastermind strategy behind it.
i: who do you think killed jihoon?
lkl: park woojin 100%. i don't trust him, and he's very sneaky, yet also smart. he knew jihoon was studying harder and would pass him in class ranks at that rate, so he killed him.
