Chapter 16.

-Stephanie's pov-

It was Friday night and I was at this new café I was working at. I'd been working there for about 3 or 4 weeks now. I really liked it here. It was almost time for me to leave. The only thing I don't like here is that even though I don't start working until 1 in the afternoon, I don't actually get off work until 7 pm. But I do get paid pretty well so I guess I don't mind that much.

A customer came in and walked up to me.

"Hi, can I get just a regular chai tea?" the lady said.

"Sure." I smiled. "That'll be 2.86."

She gave me 3 dollars and I gave her back 14 cents in change before making her tea.

After a while Ashton came in and walked up to me.

"Hey babe." he gave me a quick kiss.

"Hey. I'm almost finished. Do you want anything?" I asked.

"No I'm good. Do you want me to take your bag to my car?" he asked.

"Sure. I'll go get it." I went to the back of the café and got my small duffle bag with my clothes in it. I walked back up to the counter and handed it to Ashton.

He took the bag and went out to his car. I walked up to Ellie and started talking to her.

"So, that was your boyfriend?" she asked.

"Yeah. I'm going to his place tonight." I said.

"Oh ok. Well, it's 6:50, Friday night, and you're going to hang out with your boyfriend. Go ahead and go home. I'll close up." she smiled.

"Really? Thanks El." I smiled.

"No problem. Just be here to work on time tomorrow." she said.

I hung up my apron and punched out. I walked over to Ashton, who was now sitting at one of the tables.

"Hey. I'm ready to go." I said.

"Alright." he got up and we started walking out to his car.

After we got something to eat, we drove back to Ashton's house. We were both in his kitchen now.

"So you like working there?" Ashton asked.

"Yeah. It's really nice." I said.

"There aren't any guys like Nathan right?" he asked seriously.

"No Ash. Trust me. There's two guys there. One of them is in a relationship and the other is gay." I said.

"Ok." he chuckled. He walked closer to me and put his hands on my hips. "Those shorts look really great on you." he whispered.

"Really?" I smirked as he slid his hands into my back pockets.

"Yes." he left a light kiss on my lips. "I bet they'd look better off though." he whispered.

I chuckled and leaned in and kissed him. I wrapped my arms around his neck to pull him closer to me. He moved his hands up to my hips and picked me up and set me on his counter so he was standing in between my legs.

I'd been thinking about taking things to the next step with Ashton. I know it's weird how I'm 20 years old and I'm still a virgin. I don't know, I guess it's just that I've been scared or something. I think I'm ready now. I'd already talked about this with Ashton and he said for me to take my time but I think I'm ready now.
