"Turtles?" I question as if I'd heard him wrong.
"Yes turtles," he nods.
"But why?" I ask.
"Turtles can go anywhere they want, whenever they want, they can cross oceans and no one would care," Gabriel explains and I begin to catch onto his thinking.
"Can't any fish do that though? Or marine animal for that matter?" I ask.
"Yes but turtles are green and I love the color green," he explains.
"Do you also have a reason for liking green so much?" I raise an eyebrow as it seems he has reason and explanation for everything about himself.
"In fact I do, it's the color of life," he smiles a bright smile that I remember from yesterday."You know for a prince you're a bit odd," I comment with a grin.
"And for a little teenage girl you are a bit of trouble," he grins back.
"Well, I'm only trouble when a jackass pushes a poor kid over," I bring up the other day with a quirked eyebrow. It's odd to think that the guy I'm talking to right now is the same one who pushed over a lower classman as well as almost slapping me."Ok in my defense I had a run-in with the sophomore earlier that day, and he was the one that ran into me he just bounced off!" he claims defensively and I roll my eyes.
"You almost slapped me!" I claim and his face turns slightly red.
"I was just trying to scare you!" he blushes deeper and I begin to laugh harder than I was before. As he does this he fiddles with his signet ring and slides it on and off. I begin to laugh harder at his nervousness."Here we are!" Celia shouts and I glance out my window to see Blake's miniature mansion.
"Aw that's cute," Gabriel mutters and my gaze snaps to him.
"Cute? This place costs like 3 mil and is on a lake," I gawk at him and he quirks an eyebrow up at me.
"Is that supposed to impress me?" he teases and I simply shake my head.
"Rich ass," I mutter before shoving him out of the van and thanking the driver.Soon Gabriel is next to Wyatt again and I'm walking between Celia and Blak. We waltz down the stone walkway and through the garage that holds Mr. Christian's sports car.
"Aw your dad has a Chevrolet Camaro? Beautiful car," Wyatt gushes at the white car next to us.
"Yeah, I wouldn't know," Blake responds unamused before turning back to where the door is and swinging it open."Welcome to my humble home," Blake grins at all of us as we walk through the grand entrance with a large chandelier hanging from the high ceiling right next to the grand staircase that leads to Blake's room and his parents.
"Feeling at home yet?" I shout back to Gabriel.
"Just add a throne room," he responds cockily."Well the kitchen is this way but in the meantime, you guys can watch some TV," Blake shrugs while heading to the large kitchen that has been designed just for him.
"Follow me," Celia nods her head at the two boys as the four of us make our way for his large comfy living room. Celia grabs the remote to the 70" TV before flipping it on. Wyatt and Gabriel make themselves comfy on the opposite side of the room as Celia and I. Soon we all begin to watch the Hunger Games that's a quarter way through."Wait, Gabriel," Wyatt suddenly speaks up, "Can you understand Mexican Spanish?" Silence fills the room as we all stare at Wyatt for a moment, his face still contorted in confusion.
"Wyatt, the only difference is a slight accent and a few words," Gabriel says slowly. This seems to only confuse Wyatt more as he tilts his head to the side and looks back at Celia and me, "He's kidding right?" he mouths to us and we both shake our heads quickly.
"That makes so much sense!" Wyatt suddenly cheers with a large grin, "You know I remember in Spanish class when Senor Karl offered to send us to Mexico but I thought that was so stupid because we didn't know Mexican Spanish we only knew Spanish!" Wyatt explains while nodding his head excitedly."Hey Wyatt look, they're on fire!" Celia nods towards the TV and Wyatt's mouth slams shut as his eyes glue themselves to the screen.
"Why aren't they dying?" Wyatt whispers to Gabriel who seems to be trying his hardest not to whack Wyatt upside the head.
"How long will you be living with him?" I tilt my head at Gabriel with a small smirk. His gaze meets mine as his face remains emotionless, "Too long."
